Jimmy Stewart never gave a bad performance! And his favorite medium was radio and his show ," The Six Shooter" was only cancelled cuz he wouldn't let them advertise cigarettes on it because of the large audience of children listening.

Extra note, according to Jimmy Stewart's autobio when he left his show, " The Six Shooter", the producers decided to forgo radio for the new medium of teevee and tweaked the character a little and changed the show's name to "Maverick" and the rest was cowboy history!

Where is it noted here WHO wrote this play? It was John Forrest, who also wrote "Daisy Chain" for Suspense Theater. John R. Forrest’s “Mission Completed” is a solid gold Suspense classic; a gripping, sweat-inducing drama that benefits from an amazing performance from James Stewart. The show, broadcast December 1, 1949, aired to commemorate the event of the bombing of Pearl Harbor eight years previous! www.escape-suspense.com/2010/05/suspense-mission-completed.html
