Susten Pass, Swiss Alps | On My Royal Enfield Classic 350 Reborn | Solo in Switzerland Ep-2

This has been a Dream for a very long time, a dream Come True to ride the Swiss Alps.
Susten Pass (el. 2260 m.) is a mountain pass in the Swiss Alps. The pass road, built from 1938-1945, connects Innertkirchen in the canton of Bern with Wassen in the canton of Uri. A 300-meter-long tunnel crosses the pass at 2,224 meters.
The pass is popular with tourists, especially for the views of the Stein Glacier on the south side.

Thanks for posting this ride. It was interesting to watch riders on bigger bikes blow by you on your 350 single, while you record the spectacular views for us to enjoy vicariously. They will get where they are going sooner, and have less time to attend to the scenery, which seems to defeat the purpose of doing the ride, for me at least.

Hey, Could i have a question? I am planning to buy classic or bullet next season and I'm a bit worried about mountain trips. How classic feels on mountain roads fully loaded? Is it feels underpowered?

it has good amount of Low end toque it doesnt feel underpowered.... easy to corner and has good stability.... i would say max 80 to 90Kmph is its best zone.... more over on mountain roads u cant go super fast you will have to slow down at the curves.... if you wanna enjoy the scenary and ride...then classic/bullet is a good choice... if u wanna speed up on these roads (above legal speed limit).... then this bike wont suit you (PS,:the legal speed limit on these swiss alps is 80kmph....) 😊 Cheers!

@@madrasidude thanks for reply! :) I'm not kind of guy who like to ride over speed limits, even i had sport bike. Nowadays I am more into slow enjoyable ride, do re classic and bullet seems to be perfect for this job. :) Thanks again for reply and I'm waiting for more videos from you. Take care :)

I have a Classic 350 and live in this area. It’s a perfect bike to do all the little Alpine Roads even if there is a little loss of power when in the high elevation. As long as as you’re not on the hurry. Feel free to get in touch with me when planning a trip in the Alps, it’s my garden.

with respect - you can tell.. I'm from the UK and our main road speed (Motorway) is around 130kph / 80 mph - even though that is more than the notional limit.... When Madrasi is backing off, we would be dropping to 4th and giving it everything...
