Berserk was the very first Manga I ever read and it was fairly recent. I read all of it within 2 months right before I graduated from highschool. The art was breathtaking and it only got better, it had so much soul to it and felt like it was jumping out of the panels a lot of times. Watching Miura's art evolve within the short period of time I read Berserk is the most beautiful thing. It inspired me to get back into art at some point and try cross hatching myself. The writing is definitely the best a Mangaka like Miura could bring to the pages. An example and my personal favorite line is when Godo says to Guts on is death bed "Hate is a place where a man who can't stand sadness goes." The month he passed was a dark time for me. I nearly lost a loved one to alcohol. I felt like I was stuck. I didn't have anything to keep myself occupied. His passing only made it worse. Things did get better though, I accepted that he is gone but not forgotten and whenever I felt awful i'd think of my favorite things, one of them being Berserk. I am extremely grateful to be alive thanks to Miura-sensei and his wonderful work. Rest in peace Kentaro Miura. The series you gave us was truly special and has touched the hearts of many. It is indeed one of a kind.

I love how this artist can make both the most calming, peaceful and disturbing songs.
Believe it or not, I think of this song as so beautiful as my eyes are beginning to cry. Crying just because of how beautiful it is. Amazing. Greetings from eastern Europe.
I actually like the sound quality, it makes it sound rough and cloudy, and epic. Also Susumu Hirasawa in 360p is really nostalgic. Reminds me of a time when Satoshi Kon was still alive and youtube didn't suck. Thx for the upload.

Susumu Hirasawa got a lot of inspiration for some of his earlier solo work from Thailand. The whole Sim City album drew inspiration from his experiences in Thailand. This song was pulled off of Technique of Relief though, which is more of a spiritual/mystical album. So, my guess is that it would be words made to sound like something spiritual, or it's Thai. Then again it could be something totally different. Have a nice day.

This artist uses AMIGA for his music work! Hirasawa uses Amiga computers extensively in his work, using applications such as Scala, Bars and Pipes, and OctaMED in the production of his music. One of the factors that set him apart from other Japanese electronic artists is ever-changing production techniques. He also created the famous startup jingle for AmigaOS4!
