Yokota was (and still is) one of my personal heroes. He's the kind of guy who I take as a role model within the electronic music industry: A guy with a unique, versatile sound, very organic and truly japanese, with a ying-yang balance between blissful ambient passages, and pounding 303 acid stompers. Somehow, he's Japan's unsung hero in the realm of electronic music, as he was truly connected with his country, and always tried to portray that essence using nothing more than analog machines. Organic feelings through inorganic means. Absolute Respect.

I remember when I bought this album, I had no idea who the artist was and what the genre was about, but I was just a teenager that thought "hey, that album covers pretty cool". I had no idea what I was buying but I took a chance on it! I love listening to this whenever I feel stressed out. Susumu Yokota still blows me away.
