Great explanation. I also installed a sutter clutch a few months ago and I am very pleased. Great content. Keep it coming

Good stuff! I just replaced the clutch in my ZX10R. First time ever doing a clutch swap, not too difficult a job really. I hammered my clutch hard the last few rounds of racing and it started to slip bad in the very last race. 🤷🏻♂ Thanks for the great content and keep yourself safe! 😃👍❤🏍 Randy

Nice video mate. I'm a fellow zx6r racer here, same model bike as yours. I broke 2 shift drums and keep having shift forks premature wear, did you experience any gearbox issues? I've had other bikes in the past and never a problem like this. Thanks

Kawasaki has poorly designed transmissions. I use the best QS (I think) to help soften the impact of wide-open shifts. Checkout the Translogic line of QS. It's a bit pricey but their software calculates the best cylinder cut sequence at different engine speeds. Like a ramp in/ramp out but in milliseconds. Also, I use the Factory Pro shift star and changed my oil after each track weekend. Hope this helps!

Where did you get extra steels from?
@AAron_Rides Жыл бұрын
You can get them as an OEM part number. There’s options when ordering them from Kawasaki or some OEM part vendor like Ron Aryes.

How often would you say maintenance would need to be done if I got a Suter clutch for trackdays? I usually do 8-10 trackdays over a span of 4-5 months. Running intermediate level on an FZ07.
@AAron_Rides Жыл бұрын
That’s really hard to say, mainly because of riding style and how much you use the slipper clutch. I can tell a difference between different layouts of tracks, from fast/flowing to stop/go. It’s enough where I check it after every race weekend so approximately 30 laps

Would this clutch kit be unsuitable for street riding?
@AAron_Rides2 жыл бұрын
Yes…you’ll have to be constantly checking the stack height

Roughly after how many street miles would u suggest checking the stack height ?
@AAron_Rides Жыл бұрын
@@josephtorresflores6219 that’s hard to say, you don’t use a clutch the same way and I haven’t ridden on the street for years. I’d say just save the money and keep the stocker

Yep. Still. Bike rides so well. Aye, I made Warrant Officer and will be in Augusta for about a year. After that, I’m trying to get a RASP date and hopefully get stationed at Hunter AAF in Savannah with 1st Ranger BN. I’ll definitely be getting a truck and enclosed trailer then and maybe we can hit up some tracks.
