i notice that there's some sort of a piece of metal on top of the oil level window, my bad for being broke but does that come with the bike or is just a separate additional mod to protect the clutch cover when sliding?

What was the benefit gains of the suter clutch than the oem ones?

The OE clutch has been slipping under hard use. This one is supposed to make it harder for it to slip. The Suter also has the ability to adjust the engine braking using different springs.

@@CookJunkie the maintenance for the Suter is more stringent and less flexible than the stock clutch. ​​⁠I would not recommend the Suter for the street. I would instead recommend the stock clutch with upgraded springs from Graves www.gravesport.com/products/kawasaki-zx-4rr-works-clutch-spring-kit.html

Where and how did you get the case off?

The clutch cover removes off the engine case very easily. Just a few bolts.
