Another rare one! Dame Joan and the Big P at their glorious best!
In the BEFORE example however, excessive hiss and the unbalanced recording mar this historic performance.
In the AFTER, the voices emerge and you can really hear the beauty of Pavarotti's youthful tenor and the exciting conclusion with Dame Joan capping it with one of her spectacular high notes.
