Great to see this video, that's one hell of a lot of work being done and probably still quite a lot more to come yet. All volunteers 🙋♂️ 👍 is absolutely awesome and incredible, I think 🤔 it's fairly obvious that, there is a heck of a lot of passion and enthusiasm. If you have a love of wood work (as i do in a small way compared to what you are doing) also creating such a splendid vessel must as I personally would be, full of pride to be a part of it. Absolutely brilliant 👏. Hope you are able to raise the funding needed, also be able to obtain more suitable timber to continue the build. I also applaud you for making saleable items from scraps and offcuts they are available for purchase. If I get the chance I would love to come and have a look. All the best to all of you on the continuing build 👍. Cheers Les.

Is everyone sure the original was a sea worthy vessel or was it maybe not just built for the funeral?
@anglo_saxon_wanderer_74Ай бұрын
@TheRobinj13 From what is known, it was certainly pulled up from the river. Perhaps it was floated? As for sea worthy, I'm not sure... it did not have a mast .

Had been used a fair bit- there were patches on the planking. Pretty sure it would have been seaworthy enough to have been rowed across to Holland or Germany.
