I remember seeing this video years ago and it helped make the purchase of the Core. I ended up buying and selling the vector and regretted ever since. Finally got a deal on another vector and am very excited. Great watches and great video!

This video helped, since my Bk Core watch only came with a semi-worthless quick start guide. It also did not start out in the Suunto setup mode as shown in another video, and all the units were pre set in the metric system with 24 hour time. (The old vector has a temp reading when off the wrist, and u can change all units). George

Sorry to hear you've had problems with yours. Mine has always worked great. No problems what so ever. Been running the hell out of this watch for over 3 years now. Battery life only sucks if use the instrumentation a lot like the compass, and other features. says so in the instruction manual. I change the battery about once a year. Casio has some great watches as well but Suunto is better IMO. thanks for watching.

The Core is best used when used outdoors. This model does not have the heart rate monitor. There are newer version that do I believe. You won't be able to track workouts or anything like that but as far using it for outdoors this is one of the best watches you can buy. the lens is scratch resistant and the battery will last about a year depending on how much you use the watch.

Oh really as simple as that ! Thanks , I'm also debating which one to buy, I have no clue , the core looks a lot more modern compared to the vector however I like the thickness of the vector 1

@chanderson1 Thanks. I havent had a problem so far with the watch. I will say that lower lit areas it can make it a little hard to see the negative face. but even with positive face it can be difficult to see when theres not alot of light.

Good video brah. Was looking at the 'G-shock Gw-9200mbj-1jf all black military version Casio watch', but I want the Suunto Core all black. Both good looking watches with a lot of the same features but trying to decide which one is better.
@datzitteezy13 жыл бұрын
@mytuber81 Those G-shock watches are nice. Im thinking about picking up one later this year.

@ngeh3 The military black. If its more percise then its gonna be worth the extra few bucks. You never know you may need that compass one day. Sorry I couldn't offer up more info on the two watches. The only two I've really had a chance to look at is the vector and the core mil version.

Go to the units setting. You'll see 12 or 24 hour in units. choose the one you want and your set. pretty easy.

30 meters is almost 100 feet! Suunto makes great products and this watch is not a divers watch so to go that far under water is pretty good. This is more of a hikers watch. It does a great job at tracking and recording elevation change, storm alert, and navigational assessment ie. the built in digital compass. I spend 99.99% of my time on land so the watch works great for what need it to do. If you spend a lot of time diving more than 100 feet then this is not the watch for you.

@ngeh3 It must be the dealer charging more for the more popular brand. The watches look the same on the suunto website. Look for a different dealer if the one you want cost more. idk

@datzitteezy The Military Black and the Yellow (Yeah, I wore the Yellow IN Country) Vector ABC Wrist Computers is 'the Shit'!!! If you MUST get yourself a Fru-Fru Watch for the boardroom---go with the EMERGENCY Breitling in Titanium (has the 40mhz transponder) $6K. But my REAL WORLD WATCH is my Suunto Vector. Ask me if the Barameter works? The barameter dropped to 29.45 at Ft Benning and I said we need to find cover. SIX MINUTES LATER we got hit with sheets of golf ball sized hale!!! No Lie!!

100 feet water resistant doesnt actually mean 100 feet water resistant. Look it up. "100 feet: This level will easily withstand splashes or brief immersion in water, or getting caught in the rain. However, it is not sufficiently resistant for swimming or bathing." I can't even bath in it? Doesn't seem water resistant enough to me.

Can anyone recommend a badass-looking digital watch under 41 mm?
