Thanks for the video. You have a fantastic channel. I wonder how a 200 with the 5.7L V8 (381 hp/401 lb ft torque) or 4.5 L V8 Diesel would compare to the new 300--I suspect power wise would they would be closer, but the new petrol engine is certainly more efficient than the older one. Great comparison and awesome that the MTS works in 4HI. However I felt that the TT 3.5 V6 LC300 should have been compared to a 5.7 V8 LC200 (closer power ratio) with the 8 speed transmission, not the 4.6 V8 LC200 with the 6 speed transmission. Do you have a 5.7 V8 LC200 with 6 or 8 speed transmission for comparison? I see that on some videos, you have a supercharged Tundra with the same 5.7 V8 and 6 speed transmission as the LC200 for comparison. The TT V6 have more HP and torque than the natural aspirated 5.7 V8 but lower than the supercharged 5.7 V8. For reference, a 2013 5.7 V8 LC200 with 6 speed auto transmission has a 0-60mph (close to 0-100km/h) of 6.5 sec and a 2021 5.7 V8 LC200 with 8 speed auto transmission has a 0-60mph of 6.6/6.7 sec. Not sure what the supercharged 5.7 V8 0-60mph time is.
@runnerxa3 жыл бұрын
For fuel economy, I am going to guess that the TT V6 petrol LC300 will be very close to the real world fuel economy of a 2nd gen Ford Raptor (TT 3.5 V6, 10 speed auto, 4WD, and similar weight). When unboosted (like on highway speed and idling), it will get great fuel economy. Once owners start to stomp on the gas pedal (like most real world Raptor owners), the fuel economy will drop once the turbochargers kick in. Overall, it will probably be better than the 14/15 avg mpg on the V8 petrol LC200. The 3.3 TD most definitely will have better fuel economy than the 4.5 V8 TD during daily driving. Just curious how much the difference would be once the vehicle is loaded and towing. Logic would say that the 4.5 V8 TD would not have to work as hard pulling/towing as the 3.3 TD. However diesel technology have improved since 2007 and the Defender's diesel engine has both good output & fuel economy. Same thing could apply to the 3.3 TD. Sidenote, the 4.5 V8 TD probably have more tuning overhead than the the 3.3 TD. Once you tune the 4.5 V8 TD, you can get more than 300+ HP and 626ft lb (850NM) torque.
@jinspappanal3 жыл бұрын
@@runnerxa The official Figure is 9.3 Kmpl for LC300 3.5 TT and 9.4 Kmpl for LC300 4.0 V6 whereas for LC200 5.7 V8, it is 8.2 Kmpl and for LC200 4.0 V6 is 9.2 Kmpl.

Ah long awaited 300 To be honest, i never liked the 200 series. I think it's the worst series of LC ever, uncomfortable, over weight, ugly, underpowered and very noisy even in city drive, also is way behind in the safety department. I always prefer the 100 series by far (the 80 is too agricultural for my taste, altough is a great series). For the 300 i'd like how toyota sent their chief engineer to australia to do the development, the last time toyota had done similiar thing is in 60/70 series, when old FJ series mocked by mitsubishi, toyota sent their head engineer to africa and tell then not to come back unless they sure they can build a car that can literally go in the hardest condition imanginable. So LC 300 series, i have eyes on you.

This video has lost some credibility, you compare the acceleration and show the 200 crawl off the line, then say the 300 is faster but do not show it off the line and then say it picks up better over 4k rpm. Then on the descent you make a big deal about the 200 brake noise and say the 300 is quieter, but then mute the cabin microphone to make it falsely sound silent, and you can see the audio is muted as the guy in the passenger seat is talking but there is no sound. This does not seem like an honest comparison like the other videos I have watched Edit: unsubscribed

Hello, the transparent trunk capability is so functional that you can monitor and see that if you have passed the hole or rugged terrain safely, it can guide you to manage the steering and give you a small scale of the chassis for controlling the size of the SUV which made it ideal for basic drivers, also it has made this generation much more versatile. I am so curious about the trailing capability, is this feature available for trailing or not?
