This is ridiculously amazing and organized. Deserves waaaay more views Tori!

Thank you so much!! I am a very organized person and I felt like some of the videos I had seen were of things scattered about instead of having a home. Means a lot!

This is the most unique camper build I’ve seen. Love the honeycomb shaped shelf’s. Very functional and aesthetically pleasing. Well done! Enjoy your hard work!

Thank you so much!! I really wanted to be able to utilize the stash compartments on the wheel wells and I’m also a huge fan of honeycombs. They just so happened to fit nicely in the spot and to see out of the windows. Win win!

@@torithetraveler8681 nice. I'm in Texas and I bought a 2005 without rust. Mine does have the 4.7 and I feel lucky I found my truck.

Love the shelves! Great idea

Thank you!! They not only allow for the back windows to be used but they fit perfectly so I can still put the seats back up with them installed

Aaaahhhh I dig that honeycomb shelving. Very creative 😊

So great! If you have any issues with your cord in the future I'd recommend using turnbuckles attached to your factory tie-down points. Really easy to do and much more durable.

Thanks for the tip! The paracord is doing the job nicely, and it was cheap which was cool!

Hi Tori! Conversion looks great. You can remove the bottom cushions from the second row easily to gain more space instead of having to fold them up. There are only a couple bolts holding them down.

Hey alex! Thanks for the advice! I considered removing the seats but I didn’t have anywhere to store them so this made the most sense. If I had a place to keep them the extra room would have been really awesome!

Thank you!! It took me a long time to come up with the build idea. I'd recommend these hexagon shelves any day. Also, if you're looking to keep your seats in the angle of the hexagons allows for the seats to lock back into place (:

Hey! I have the same car and just downsized from a full size camper van build and about to build a similar set up! I like your window shades a lot! Did you make those custom? If not, could you let me know where you got them? :)
@torithetraveler86812 жыл бұрын
Hey Dillon! I made them myself, super easy and cheap to do too, I have a video on my page of the process cost/ materials. There are a few people on etsy that make them but I wanted to have my own fabric ect. You should post your build, I'd love to follow along another 4th gen camper!

@@torithetraveler8681 thank you I’ll check that out! I’ll try! Lol i was gonna document with my van build but got so lazy and focused on the build itself i didn’t film everything.

@@dillonwehde Yeah I totally understand that. It was kind of a hassle to get my build recorded, but I wanted to make sure I had that process. You could have done a van walk through! Would've loved to see it built.

v8 or v6?
@torithetraveler86813 жыл бұрын
V6! I searched high and low for a V8 with lower mileage and minimal rust but it was near impossible. I lucked out with this v6 though, 61k miles when I bought her, one owner, and little rust.

@@torithetraveler8681 im in Texas so i found my 2005 with 163k on her with V8 last October. its a two wheel drive which doesn't bother me as the V8s are AWD. i own a Subaru as well and didn't want two vehicles with AWD. your setup is pretty nice. i was considering a similar set up but im on the fence of keeping my truck and making a buck. its worth more now than i paid for it.
