Saw this product elsewhere. Needed something for ‘on the road access’ to the top box on my Volvo xc60. Bought it from Amazon. Amazing quality. Not sure about the pull load on the door close bar tho However On an xc60 I could not get my foot up to provide leverage to extend myself upward. I’m sure on other cars it’ll work. Not on an xc tho. Same applies to the other articulated arm version of this Great review tho

I still use it from time to time, but the best solve is a retractable ladder from Frontrunner. I find that gaining full access to the roof is 90% of the time.

Hi Eddy, have they responded at all? Maybe a direct message to them? I know that export and import are a real problem during the pandemic. In no way am I associated with them as a company. Merely have their product and use it from time to time. Good luck and I hope it works out for you. If you are in South Africa, there are a few fitment centers that sell the product. Stock might be a problem though. Cheers

Product seems almost impossible to source locally and the apparent .co.za www and facebook site looks closer to a scam site than anything legit. I see on FB locals are furious. Such a pity... perhaps a gap for someone with good welding skills?
