That has to be one of the most unique natural arches I have ever seen. Love the way you filmed the “reveal” move back through. It and the entire area is just stunning! Beautifully captured. Thanks for bushwhacking your way there to share with us, Tristan! I am in awe of this place!!

Ah, the wonders of the electronic age! You beat me to it, which is good because I didn't know the actual reset procedure; but, I was going to offer the opinion that the issue was likely a simple matter of a reset code not being entered by the person performing the last oil change since it was done so recently.

Levi Brinkley and Dave Dunbar were friends of mine among those who died on Storm King Mountain that horrible day in 1994, almost exactly thirty years to the day that I found this video. In a few short weeks I will be returning to Bozeman for my fourth trip to that town to deliver my second (and last)-born to join his sister as Bobcats at MSU. We plan to travel and camp there and back with a group of friends who all know and loved Levi, and I now hope we can all visit the memorial of his crew leader on the way back, as well as Levi's memorial in Burns Oregon. Thank you for posting this video in time to learn of such a beautiful place, and for stopping to regard Don Mackey's memorial. Also, in researching this site, I discovered Corvallis Montana is nearby: I grew up in Corvallis Oregon, and never knew there was another place that shared this name. Thank you again.

Yes, Hondas, cars and scooters, just count the miles from the last time the oil change light was reset. In Honda cars there is a misleading "oil life" percentage but that is just a calculation of miles driven since the last reset, not a true measure of the condition or level of the oil.

Oil reset timer didn’t get reset last oil change. Check the oil. If it’s good then reset the indicator (look it up - easy). If it’s dirty black oil then the last mechanic ripped you off and didn’t change your oil and stole your money. Always check your oil before driving away from an oil change. People make mistakes. Not necessarily crooks. Just human errors. Most people are decent but tired and unhealthy.

you really delivered on this one Tristan, beautiful place. great hike (brutal as it looked). great cinematography and what an arch. the sheer scale and improbability of such a thin slice of an arch to survive until the day you could hike up to it and see it in person. Its alway disconcerting when you see a warning light come on in the middle of a long trip, but you did leave us with a cliff hanger there, hope it all panned out for you as I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting to see you continue this awesome trip you've planned.

For 8 years I traveled full time by motorcycle. Many cross country work related trips. I was always packed down heavy. Not once did anyone take anything from my bike when left standing; except for this one time, outside of Denver. I was staying at a hotel and my motorcycle was stolen. 6 weeks later the police found it. I picked it up. The entire motorcycle was cleaned, polished, except for the primary side of the rear rim. Everything that I was planning to take off the bike at the end of the season to replace, was gone. The person road about 400 miles and left me and half a tank of gas. A year later I discovered that the baffling has been cut in half. Somehow I knew something was off but everyone kept telling me it was just me being paranoid after having the bike stolen. Funny thing is, I’m not so made at the motorcycle thief; I was more upset with the police/impound facility. They forced my to get another vehicle and trailer to move the bike off the property, instead of just riding it out. Plus changed me for days that the bike was in their lot. Plus pick up fees. I don’t know about you, but I feel more robbed from the police, having to pay them these fees, something that should just be a part of our taxes, than thief taking my bike.

Boy, if you didn't;t like that bushwhacking, stay away from south central Alaska. Find out what truly insane bushwhacking can be when you get into your first Devil's Club patch after alder-walking and wading through willows and wild rosebushes...

Beautifully shot, thank you! Love the scooter, I'm living through you since I'll never get one! Incredible shots at the arch, my jaw dropped with the drone footage & you under the arch. wow! Your stamina is just amazing, and I so much appreciate your going where I'll likely never go. QUESTION -- What's a link to your drone equipment (it's the best drone footage I've seen!) and also how is your sunglass case attached to the backpack strap? Thank you again Tristan!

Hey, Tristan: Kudos to you for the bush-whacking! Done my share, but avoid as much as possible now. Always enjoy seeing MSR gear being used... My uncle helped establish the company back in the '60s. He was a 'Seattle Mountaineer', and worked for the first owner L Penberthy as an engineer & machinist. Take care out there!! & thanks for posting!
