Join me for our final day of our 9-day, 220-mile trip down the #Suwannee River from Fargo, GA, to Suwannee FL. Six other friends and myself made the journey on February 10th through 18th. It was challenging at times, but extremely rewarding! #canoe #kayak #camping

Thanks, Rob! :) Long trips & high mileage can wear on you a little, but as they say, "A bad day paddling beats a good day at work!" :D

Excellent editing in the second half-you captured the fun perfectly! All in all, it was a wonderful paddling trip, though I felt sorry for you that the last days were rainy. I enjoy an occasional paddling day in the rain on the lake nearby, but only in Summer.

Thank you LySan! Likewise, I don't mind paddling in the rain in mild weather and the cold, rainy finish wasn't the finale that we wanted, but still it was a fantastic trip! And the editing on the last part of this video was definitely the most involved and time-consuming of any other part of the series! Thanks again!!

I thoroughly enjoy your adventures. Makes me wish I could buy another canoe and get out there way more often than I am, but life is definitely in the way right now.

Thank you very much, Michael! Yes, life does get in the way. I've paddled less this year (other than this trip) than in any year prior. Maybe things will settle down for us both very soon!

That was awesome! I can't even imagine how long that it took to edit that last half of the video! Also, at the 9:25 mark, I looked up and thought that was MY truck setting at the take out! Glad that you guys had a great trip! And thanks for sharing! I am just now getting to watch it b/c we just got home from the Okefenokee Swamp last night! We had another good trip and was able to get a box checked for Poe & Dave. They have now camped at every legal campsite in the Okefenokee Swamp! We also recorded some new podcasts in some pretty awesome locations!

Thanks, Brad!! Yes, the last half of the video took longer than any other part...almost as long as one entire video!! I almost gave up...lol!! And I get it- I've been so busy with work and other stuff that I'm behind on yours, but that will change tonight!! Thanks, Brad!!!

I found you about a month ago Dan and I really enjoy your adventures. This series was amazing. Looking forward to your next video. I’ve got a 3 day 2 night trip planned down the Buffalo National River in Arkansas in May. I will be posting the trip to my KZbin channel as well. It’s a beautiful river.

Thank you very much, David! I definitely need to get some more paddle trips further south in that area. I'll be in Southern Mississippi in a few weeks, so I'm slowing adding more paddling near the Gulf!

Did y'all ever figure out what happened to the boat that got lost?
@SouthernPaddler
@SouthernPaddler Ай бұрын
Sadly, no. I called the county sheriff's office with a description of the boat and left my number, but we never heard back. It was a really nice boat and whoever found it kept it (or, at least, did not report it to the county sheriff). We lost it near Old Town, FL.
