@@robertdouble559 I understand your point, but it’s not exactly the same thing. It’s common for films to be funded. Not all creators have the capital to fund their stories. This is indeed an actual short film and not a gear review about specs and codecs on the latest Sony product. He consistently puts out actual work instead of selling us theories on how a new product will make us better filmmakers. In other words, he walks the walk and not talk the sales talk.

'shamelessness'? 'Bad words'? Are you just generally really uptight, or is jesus up your butt? And what are 'bad words'? Cursing? You know, you choose to see those words as 'bad', but could just as easily choose not to. It's all very arbitrary. What about words like 'murder', 'slaughter', 'molestation', 'bigotry', hatemongering? All those are very 'bad' in their essence, imo. But I'm guessing if they were spoken in this short film you wouln't consider them 'bad' at all. That's a rather twisted mindset to have, to be more offended by a four-letter swear word than those that mean reprehensible acts.

Nice mix between your native language and english, so that everyone is involved. The ending is very beautiful and could easily be taken out of dozens of paintings. I am a Syrian refugee living in Turkey, and this film touched me. I love the blend of Japanese and English in it. I wish you would visit Turkey and make a film with a Syrian about refuge and this strange life in which you cannot go back to change the beginning or start anew to change the ending, blending Arabic and Japanese, and perhaps English as well.

As a westerner married to a Japanese with a 'half' (we prefer 'double') son, in a household that mixes 3 languages and that has faced the challenges of integrating into different societies, this was so very touching and real.
