Suzanne and I were dorm buddies freshman year 1964-65 at San Francisco College for Women which had 200 students. She was so kind, bright and sweet; never clicky or a mean girl at all. . . ❤genuine, down to earth and a very awesome authentic human being! Everyone loved her then, and millions love her now. Suzanne was the real deal! 👍 She will be missed but not forgotten. ❤ God Bless You Suzanne 🙏RIP

My dad and I saw Suzanne in Vegas around 1980. She was headlining at the MGM Grand Hotel. I thought we've nothing to do, let's see her show. I was amazed at how talented she was; she sang, she danced, she told jokes, and generally just charmed the audience. I'm very sad she passed away. All indications was that she was a brave and courageous person. RIP lovely lady.

Ms. Somers, Mr. Ritter and Ms. DeWitt brought joy to my turbulent middle school years. Made me smile when I wanted to cry, made me laugh when I wanted to yell. 1 John 2:15-17 New Living Translation 15 Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you. 16 For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. 17 And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever. James 4:4 New Living Translation 4 You adulterers! Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God." One of the best shows ever produced. Sometimes you forget that these stars were regular people as well but because of how well these shows were produced, and how well these actors were, you were immersed in laughter and forgetting your problems for 30 minutes. Thank you to the great ones that have passed.
She lived and died with style. Gone but never forgotten. Thanks Suzanne!

I grew up watching her on Three’s company. This feels kind of like losing a big sister. I’m so happy that her light and that wonderful laugh are caught on film, and in everything she wrote, to revisit and remember.

One of my favorite stories of hers...on her way to speak at event. Wore her suit on the plane. Commercial flight. White suit. Either she spilled red white or flight attendant on her suit. She didn't have time to change her clothing. Went to her speaking event and wore it red wine stain and all. She tied that experience in a positive way in her speaking engagement. We were blessed to have known her. Sad day in Palm Springs and the World 😢 our deepest heartfelt condolences to Alan and her family. Beautiful classy lady with a fabulous sense of humor. Heaven received another Angel 🫶 🙏

Suzanne I hope your family knows that YOU inspired more people and preferably women than we can count. That’s phenomenal and if you were my family member, I couldn’t be more proud, knowing what a difference you made in so many other lives just by helping others. Throughout it all, you were always about helping others and your name will most certainly will be a part of many household conversations for generations to come. Your son is a lucky man to have a Mom that made such an impact in this world. May God rest her soul our dear Mentor.

I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God." Mark 8:36 New Living Translation 36 And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?

I am so sick and tired of hearing about breast cancer. My mom, Aunt, Sister 1, sister 2, sister 3, and I have all had it. I know we have come a long way but it's not good enough. We still have too many women dying from it. I was 16 when my mom died, 20 when my aunt died, and 32 when I got it. I am sick of this disease taking everything. RIP Suzanne.

Many asian cultures have a significantly reduced occurence of breast cancer because of their iodine intake (seaweed, etc.). I buy Lugols iodine and put a few drops in my coffee several mornings a week. My mother had breast cancer resulting in the removal of one of her breasts, so it's good to see what works for prevention here and abroad.
