It was a great bike to start on. Inexpensive and just a good cruiser. You can’t go wrong with a Japanese metric motorcycle for reliability and cost to own. I always recommend the Suzuki C50 to anyone looking to get back into motorcycles or just starting out who doesn’t want a dirt or sport bike. Very comfortable and I think looks great. Thanks for watching.

Great bikes, they do everything you can ask. I had a 99 Intruder 1500 and it was the most comfortable bike I have ever owned. The stock seat was amazingly cushy, never even thought of upgrading it. Stable on the highways, but not too big in a parking lot or driveway.

Lovely C50! Just got into riding. Been riding about a month and a half. I'm 6'3 and 350lbs. Bought an 07 C90T with 9000 miles as my first bike, paid cash, and its great! I will be upgrading to a Mustang seat and backrest, as my back side gets numb after about an hour and a half. The bike seems user-friendly to a beginner and feels much lighter than it is. Can't wait to do some minor upgrades and start saving for that Road King I've always wanted!

Almost same story as mine, same bike 2006. Just put a small windshield on mine. Also did a lower end clutch adjustment with KZbin video. Same guy did full clutch replacement instructional video. I don't like doing stuff usually but feel confident to do clutch if ever needed. 25 years after last bike good to be in saddle again. That C50 is a great bike-enjoy.

Hello! Thanks for the video of the Beautiful Ride. I have a 2004 Suzuki Volusia 800 Limited, with only 10,840. miles...............almost identical to your C50T. I'm 6' 3 " and still feel like this Bike is big enough. It's every bit as long as a Harley, or Indian. I Put white walls on mine, & front fender rails, to give it the Old School Look. Looks like you also take good care of your Bike. Thanks again.

Anyway just my opinion you can’t go wrong with the value and quality of a Suzuki cruiser.

I have a C50T and have heated grips. your Suzuki dealer should be able to get them for you I had them install mine. I have had a number of bikes with anti lock breaks did not think they made that much difference. You should stick to shaft drive chains are to much maintenance and a belt can break and leave you stranded. if you do get a belt get AAA or CAA. I had a belt that looked like new snap on half & only 30,000 miles. it was on a 883 HD Great Video in my 50 yr. of riding had over 15 bikes of all sizes. Now at 69 yr I think the C50T is the beat bike for me.

Suzuki boulevard is great. I have a 08 c50. My first bike of my own. It’s great. Blue and silver so different from this one. I do have a gas gauge which differs from his. Gas and all is good. 4.2 tank I think(45mpg). Great starter for people. I “started” with a 250cc Honda rebel and this changed up the game in a big, buy good way. Today’s it’s worth around 3500-5000. I payed 4100 overall. It’s worth it! It’s comfortable! And it’s a good ride! Don’t let people shit on it though because it’s not a Harley. I get told all the time “oh you have a nice Harley”, I’m not sure if it just looks like it, or just that I clean it often. If you come up on a offer take it up, you won’t go wrong. The cons would be the breaks sometimes, and also not being able to ride all the time! Hope this helps. Just a good honest review. (Oh and I’m a bigger guy and going 80 in a short time is no issue)

I just picked up 2022 Boulevard C50T and I used to have a 2018 Indian chieftain I can take a longer trip with the Boulevard and be more comfortable and I could with the Indian. Muscling the bike around can be exhausting LOL. And the maintenance schedule on this is going to be a heck of a lot cheaper. I used to have years ago when they first came out they called them a Volusia. And that bike I really liked I put close to 100,000 miles on it. You can't get the factory backrest anymore Suzuki stopped making them because people are getting aftermarket ones a lot cheaper. I sure wish I could have got a factory on my to do like the pivoting feature of the back pad.
@GARamblinMan Жыл бұрын
I could easily take long distance trips on my Boulevard when I had it. I did switch out the seat to a Mustang seat which made it very comfortable. I agree with you about muscling big touring bikes around the garage or in slow speed maneuvers. It’s exhausting and a little scary. Trying to pick up a 900 lb bike if it tipped over would be no fun.

Very nice looking bike. Have you had the misfortune yet of dropping it ? My Springfield suffered that misfortune while I was dismounting it, distracted by a beautiful Harley parked next to me and forgot to lower the kickstand. Weighing 850 pounds made it necessary to seek help raising it back up. I no longer let myself be distracted when getting off the bike. "They" always say... "It's not IF you've dropped a bike, it's WHEN". Ride safe and thanks for the video.

@GARamblinMan4 жыл бұрын
The Suzuki C50T is a lot like the Heritage just with a smaller motor. But that really doesn’t come into play for me with the riding I do. It has plenty of power for the 2-lane roads. I’ve had mine for 8 years and it has been very reliable. Other than tires and fluid changes the only thing I’ve had to do is replace a clutch. You should be able to get a good deal on one for a lot less than a Harley. Good luck.

I have a c50 and a sport bike. My question is always why do people who want to ride a bike always want to find ways to block the wind? It’s part of the ride.
@GARamblinMan3 жыл бұрын
Windshield or no windshield is definitely a rider preference. I just prefer to keep the wind blast off my chest when riding at higher speeds like in a highway. Just makes the ride a little more relaxing and I don’t feel so worn out after a long ride. For short little rips around town or country roads it is nice to not have the windshield and feel the full wind. That’s the good thing about just having a windshield snd not a full fairing. The windshield still lets a lot of air around it and you can easily take them on and off on these newer bikes. Thanks for watching and commenting. Ride safe.

The lumbar support for the seat is good and the seat I had on my Suzuki Boulevard was very comfortable. I upgraded to the Mustang seat with a backrest on my new Harley-Davidson Heritage snd that combo is even better. One of the things for me that make these seats so good is their lumbar support.

@GARamblinMan Жыл бұрын
I think there were some motorcycles that were coming new out of the factory without proper grease in the drive shaft and some people experienced pretty significant problems at about 16K. I sold mine with 24,000 miles and never had a problem. Probably just a random problem with some of the bikes. Definitely a quality control issue in the manufacturing process.

@GARamblinMan3 жыл бұрын
They are not standard on the C50T but I did order them from Suzuki so they are a genuine Suzuki part. I recommend you stick with these instead of any alternative brand because these will fit properly. There is a small push button switch on the back of the housing that controls them. I just leave them on at all times for the added visibility snd safety. They provide a lot of extra light at night which is great.

Don't know if I missed the question. But what RPM's is it at at 80 mph?
@GARamblinMan5 жыл бұрын
Not sure since I don’t have a tachometer. It’s pretty wound out at 80 mph.

Nice touches. I’ve got one too. Does that mustang seat bolt straight on??
@GARamblinMan3 жыл бұрын
Yes. Just remove the one bolt and take off the old seat. Mustang seat bolts right on. Takes only about 10 minutes to replace it. It’s worth it.

What luggage rack did you put on it?
@GARamblinMan6 жыл бұрын
I ordered it from Suzuki. I tried a generic rack, but it would not mount properly. You can find it on Suzuki website.

Nice looking bike, where did you get the highway bar

They are Show Chrome highway bars. I ordered them from www.partsgiant.com. About $200 I think. Easy to put on and look good.

Do you think this bike is suitable for tall people? I’m 6’3 and I’m afraid I’d look kinda silly on this bike and maybe uncomfortable? What do you think?
@GARamblinMan4 жыл бұрын
6’-3 is probably the upper limit for bring comfortable on this bike but you’ll just have to try it and see. I’m 6 ft tall and it’s very comfortable for me. You could always go with the Road King or Indian Springfield but you’ll have to shell out a lot more $$.
@waltz92304 жыл бұрын
@@GARamblinMan Oh I see! And what do you think of the Kawasaki Vulcan Classic 900? Ever ridden one? It seems to be a little bit better suited for taller people than this one.
@GARamblinMan4 жыл бұрын
I have not ridden the Kawasaki Vulcan 900. It’s a similar motorcycle to the Suzuki C50T and the Yamaha Star 950. I looked at all 3 models when I bought mine and chose the Suzuki because of the great deal I got on it. I think the Kawasaki may be slightly bigger. It’s worth a test ride on all 3.

Just a correction. The C50 does have a digital fuel gage. Maybe yours never worked?

Mine was a 2005 and that was an older model that did not have a fuel gage. The newer ones do. Thanks for watching!

What was the price for the front driving lights
@GARamblinMan5 жыл бұрын
The official Suzuki driving lights are $399. I would advise you to stick with the Suzuki ones. Some of the off brand lights won’t fit properly.

@GARamblinMan6 жыл бұрын
I think the bike would fit you just fine. I’ve never ridden with a passenger yet so I really can’t comment on that. I think it may be a bit under powered for two.

What is your honest opinion of the cobra exhaust you have? You know how it is, video and sound quality doesn’t do much justice. I recently bought a 2015 c50 with stock pipes. I want to get some aftermarket, but not sure what to get just yet.

I love the Cobra pipes. Just enough rumble and not too obnoxious. I am very pleased with them. Ride safe and thanks for commenting

I’ve been looking at the cobra street rod slashdown pipes. I really like the clean look they give the bike. Have you heard any on the c50 in person?
@jonjones14005 жыл бұрын
I have 07 C50 with cobra slashdown. looks good but they are LOUD! Too loud actually. I was considering putting oem back on. I welded a large washer in baffle to take some of the edge off. Better but may want to keep oem.

May i ask what is the top speed....?
@GARamblinMan7 жыл бұрын
Khalid - I am not really sure of the top speed. I have had it up to about 80 mph or about 129km/hr, but I really do not like to ride that fast. It will probably go a little faster but that is fast enough for me. It's a great handling motorcycle and has good power for it's size and engine displacement. Thanks for watching and hope you enjoy the videos.

@GARamblinMan3 жыл бұрын
By upgrading to a Harley-Davidson I was really referring to the Harley as an upgrade in power and technology from my 2005 Suzuki. I did not mean to imply it would be an upgrade in quality since my Suzuki and other metric brands have excellent quality track records. Thanks for watching and commenting. Ride safe.
