Cracking review mate love these real world reviews on our roads, I really agree with what you say about the weather protection, that's what it felt like to me when I looked at it at the NEC. As you know I loved my 650xt that's some going miles wise on the 650 mate, I'm of the same mind the smaller ones are more fun than the thou, so it's interesting to hear your take on it. Keep up the good videos.

Hi Minky, I saw on the Versys forum that you tried the RE, How does the suspension of the RE version stack up against the suspension on the Versys 650?

Who does it appeal to? Someone like me: 64 year old returning biker living just under the Pyrenees, plenty of Cols with hairpins and twisties, constant change in elevation, plethora of fire roads and tracks, some straight cruising, all occasionally two-up. Low end torque more desirable than top speed. Comfortable and with good manners. Decent range. Fully adjustable suspension. Won’t break the bank. It has to be on the list.
