How difficult was changing the wiring system, did you just use all GN parts for ignition etc?

Wow very cool. Sir can you tell me the difference between the engine om the 1980’s road legal non motocross dr250s and the gn250 engine? And do they both have 22 hp or was the old dr250s engine slower with only 17 hp? Thank you in advance!

Oh neat, I have the same model, and a GN engine and loom sitting on the shelf for one day. Maybe just a 12v conversion as I like having a kick-start. More of a, ill keep this incase the Dr cdi ever dies and it's not possible to replace it. Funny my tank has the same dent

What atv has the same engine in it? I'm trying to find a cdi and anything labeled for one of these bikes seems to be expensive I've been trying to find a cheap Chinese version without a lot of luck

Did your alloy swing arm version DR250 not come with a different carburetor? I thought they came with a 28mm round slide...

Hello , can you help me? I have a 1985 Suzuki SP 250 , but when the engine turns on and it stays on for a while the temperature rises and the engine makes a noise the whole time , do you think that the best option is to calibrate the valves? Thanks for answer and your time!
