Do u have to set timing when replacing rear drive gear when u do a case split will timing be good when you put motor back together

Anyway to easily free up the timing chain that got in a bind while turning motor over with pull cord to raise piston?

You can turn the engine over backwards. I would be very careful and inspect the lower end in case the chain bound up and broke the cam guide holder. Let us know. We have more Eiger videos coming. Make sure you hair the subscribe button.

My Arctic cat 400 manual has locked up somewhere in the drive system. It will shift through all gears, but will only roll about 1/4 turn of the tires in either direction until it locks up. Any idea what it would be? I've ruled out the differentials, by removing the rear driveshaft.

I got the same engine and I pulled the side cover and them gears fell off before I could see were they went along with some spacers have no idea how they go can I get some help please

How do you get the Toe - Heel Shifter off without stripping out the head - and what Impact Driver do you use or recommend for working on ATV's to remove the bolts. I have an 2002 Arctic Cat 400I with the Manual Shifter that has burned up 2 regulators and I am planning on rewiring and placing all the component on the Front Rack for Easier Maintenance.

Is this the same 366cc fan cooled engine thata been around for like 10+ years i could be wrong tho idk nothing about it but i got a 2017 arctic cat alterra 400cc/366cc kymco engine looks the same as this 1

How do you get the transfer gears lined back up if they come out when you pull the stator cover?

When I put everything back together it will either go in hi and rev, or hi and lo I can never get it to go in her/lo/rev. I've tore it down and redid my work 5-6 time's. I'll try your suggestion. Thank you for your time.

Is 2007 arctic cat 400 the same as Suzuki eiger? Heard Arctic cat used Suzuki engine

@@MidNebraskaMotorsports I’m already a subscriber. Love your videos ! Having some issues with 2007 Arctic cat 400. Gets hot and won’t start. Then backfires and carries on. Wanted to make sure I could get parts so if I can get Suzuki I might be ok. So far I’m not impressed with Arctic cat. Are they just a bad investment? Terrible customer service.
