Hey no idea is you'll see this since the video is a year old but first, thanks it is very helpful. I'm looking to do the same with 2015 DF250s to a Garmin. I have the interface cables and adapter cable, and the nmea kit. My only question is what is it you're unplugging to plug in the trim sensor plug? And i assume you just leave the other connector unplugged? Doesn't affect anything? Thanks, i appreciate any help.

Great video. I'm looking to connect my df250's to my GO9. My analogue trim gauges are not working. I suspect it's an issue with the trim sensor rather than the gauges. Am I right in assuming my trim sensor would need to be working in order for the simrad to accurately display trim?

Thanks for all of the helpful information. I have a 2002 Suzuki 115, and was hoping to hook up all of the engine information to a simrad display. Would my motor be compatible with the NMEA 2000 system?

So is that another cable adapter that is needed for the diagnostic plug? Because my cable is a male just like the one on the engine

Hey I know this is a year old but just going through the same headache and yes there is an adapter cable (my motor is a male plug also) search for a Suzuki SMIS SDS adapter cable.

After you hooked up the interface cable did you just run a nmea extension to your backbone? My dealer hooked my go12 by unplugging the connector on the anolong gauge under the console which is completely different then how you did. In doing so I have no warning lights now. I have a 2019 150

Hi, I am going thru the same pain. I have a suzuki 2014 DF175 and I can't figure it out. I called Suzuki and they told me I needed two cables, the interface cable and an adapter cable. and the Suzuki dealers tell me that I only need the interface cable. On top of that... the the dealers tell me that I connect the cables to the harness cable in the console... which I don't have any free connector...because they are all used by my analog gauges. In the video you do the connection in the engine. I have the engine connector you show in the video... but they tell me that is for the diagnostics... and I am also concerned about disconnecting the second cable in the engine (black and blue stripe)... to connect it to the interface cable... is there any way we can talk or email so you can explain a bit more to me ... it is unbelievable that there is not much information about this any where... :(

Angel Valdes I understand how you feel that’s why i made the video! I’m out of town till Wednesday so I am not able to jump on boat. I used 2 cables then went directly to my powered neama network

Yes, it is the diagnosis connector and you must connect it to the diagnosis connector. whenever you need to diagnose, you only have to disconnect it.

Thanks for the info, any reason why the Suzuki icon for the instruments dont show up?
@vitomirra6 жыл бұрын
Tidal Hook, I think you need to pigtail off the square digital Suzuki gauges in order to have the branded Suzuki on Simrad. I have the cheap gauges and wanted the ability to monitor Fuel burn Rpm Trim Bolts from motor Temp This was an easy solution. We did this on older zuks too and the data was not as plentiful. Let me know if you have any questions Vito 239-634-7985
