The power delivery of fz25 from 0 to 100 is so sweet that it makes me smile while i drive it. If the momentum is right it can go uphill on 3rd gear with pillion on back seat easily too.

FZ25 needs a serious upgrade on its Instrument console (Like the one on Mt-15), Head Lamp & an inclusion of 6th Gear & a lil' power bump! Hope Yamaha will do it in the BS6 variant of the FZ25!

Fz has perfect amount of usable power. All of it comes in 0-100 kmph. Zero wastage. Couldn't care about top speed of a naked, something you would touch just to check. Otherwise agreed, it could do with those upgrades. But its cheaper as well.

@@visit566 in your entire comment you wrote in an oil cooled motor you have to fill coolant which is wrong .So i guess your entire comment is based on wrong assumption and lack of knowledge. Fz25 is oil cooled since it uses engine oil through 2 pipes whereas bikes like dominar uses coolant to cool the engine and a radiator fan.

The hot engine transfers heat to the oil which then usually passes through a heat-exchanger, typically a type of radiator known as an oil cooler. The cooled oil flows back into the hot object to cool it continuously. No where it is mentioned that you need to put in external coolant

Thanks for the video, I have faced same question last month between FZ25 and GIXXER 250 and I went for Fz25!!! My budget was 1.3, I raised it to 1.6 for fz25. I just could not go for some 2 lac bike (Gixxer 250) when most of my needs are being fulfilled by fz25 i.e 80% commuting and 20% touring!!! btw it is a decent offroader as well!!!

Hello... Need your suggestion. Presently am using Xpulse 200 4V. Initially i thought of doing off-roading, tours, highway cruising etc while buying Xpulse. but hard reality is am using it as a city bike for 25 Kms daily commuting. Suspension set-up is excellent and getting 37-39 KMPL mileage in my xpulse. Am thought of changing bike, as xpulse is not that comfortable for city and it is not made for that. My requirements are Daily 30 Kms travel in city, Little power to overtake vehicles in city condition, good economy mileage (atleast 40+ KMPL), Pillion comfort for my mother & wife, good suspension,upright seating position. My usage will be 80% in city and 20% open roads, speed limit will be less than 100 KMPH. I have short listed 3 bikes i.e. FZ 25, Gixxer 250 and Hornet 2.0. Please suggest one amongst as per my requirements.

If you consider sales means customers choice. FZ25 sales is doing better. Y some one will spend 2.2lac for bike which is photo copy of 155cc.
