Suzuki GSX1250FA Sargent Seat Review

I installed one of these on my GSX1250FA about a year ago. No regrets. A long day is a long day no matter what seat you're on, but seat discomfort, per se, is no longer an issue for me. Good product, suits me fine.

Thanks for watching our videos - I recently upgraded my bulbs with ones that are brighter white. The H3b is now an H3b+ (slightly more wattage) ... see our bulb change videos for the exact specs of what we used. Now they work better, but not as good as the BMW modified lights.

Ok, I have been on a few good long rides. First this seat wraps around your rear like a glove on a baseball, so you might want to move everything to your front pockets. Other than that, it feels just like the Sargent seat I put on my BMW, and I believe that you will be very happy if you purchase one.

I will update how it is on a long run in the next week. I did take a height measurement and it is the same height as the stock seat at its lowest position.

I love my GSX 125FA but I was disappointed with the stock seat and replaced it with the Sargent and am very happy with the new seat. I have also fitted mirror wideners and a Yoshi pipe. I am disappointed with the headlight also, nowhere near as good as the lights on my old DL1000 VStrom.

Hi, thanks for uploading all your GSX1250 video's, they are all great, i am thinking of purchasing the sargent seat for my 2012 GSX, but am unsure about spending that much money without your true up to date comments now you have owned it for a while, look forward to your reply comment, cheers, Ade.

I love my Sargent seat. It is slightly more comfortable than stock. I bought the low version. I suspect the high version is even more comfortable, but there is also Corbin.

I know this is an older video but I have a question. Do you ever ride two up on the Sargent. I have a 2014 GSX1250FA and I've put the Corbin by Holeshot on it and it's very uncomfortable for my wife....and by association, me. The issue with the Corbin is the forward angle of the passenger portion of the seat. My wife is always sliding forward into me. I haven't had any luck determining if the Sargent has the same angle. What are your thoughts please?....Al

+Allan Burton Never did, though I can say that the Sargent is much flatter and wider than the stock seat. It still won't be like a proper ST bike, though...more like a fattened sport bike IMO. Thanks for watching!

Hi there again ! Just took a look at your new seat looks great it would be nice to know how comfortable It is on a long run as my standard seat can be a little uncomfortable as you probably well know ! And how much lower is it compared to the standard seat thanks ! Tschus

I am having wrist and neck pain as well as the usual butt issues from the seat. Do you think it is possible that the seat would change my posture enough to improve these other problems? I'm about ready to sell this bike (GSX1250)

I just bought one too....haven't even sat on it yet. Was wondering what your inseam is. Do you need the lower seat?

It is 32in. I like the lower seat because it makes it easier for me to reach the ground with both feet.

redonKiLaus Your videos are really great! It was the video comparing the sport and tour set up that made my final decision.I know I'll be pleased.This bike is replacing my HD street glide. I was getting a little tired of the wrenching on it,not because I wanted to, I HAD too. The only issue I am concerned with however is seating on longer trips. I'm more concerned with knee discomfort. I tried to find a dealer of the forward peg brackets you have but, no luck as of yet...any suggestion? I'm from Canada by the way...Good to meet ya!!

They are the OEM Suzuki bags (though I think GIVI makes them, if I recall correctly).
