Was pulling out my windscreen to replace it yesterday and one of the rubber captive nuts fell down inside my front fairing. 5 minute job now turned into ripping apart the bike. I feel sick.

Question, My 2002 hayabusa will randomly not wanna accelerate when given throttle between 4000 and 6000 rpms, any guesses as to what the issue is? will start bucking like a bronco and wants to die but will come back when the throttle is rolled off.

I live in the U.S.A(Tennessee)-I have a 99 Busa and my fuel gauge is showing FULL. It will cycle through when the ignition is on(so i know it has power going to it but i know the bike isn’t full. Now i don’t really know what to do or where to go. Can u please give me some advice.
@TheAmateurBikeBuilder4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Jason, Start at the sender, check as per w/shop manual. Might be as simple as a stuck float, If on normal key on sequence the gauge sweeps through a full range (empty to full) the gauge is probably good. The sending unit is now suspect. Raise the tank and unplug the unit. The gauge should now go to empty. this should indicate a faulty sender, hope that helps

Any ideal why my temp gauge is not working? I have a Gen 1 as well.
@TheAmateurBikeBuilder5 жыл бұрын
Hello Poppa T, could be the radiator sensor,thermostat or sending unit, did the gauge used to work ? have you had any overheating problems ?
@PoppaTInstall5 жыл бұрын
When I got the bike it was like that. No overheating. Watching your series to see if you cover what you just mentioned. Great vids! 👍🏾
