I like the BMW's but I will never sell my 01 750 gsxr. Best bike I've ever had. And keeps up with my fathers 07 cbr1000rr pretty easily.

I noticed that your FI light is on all the time? Did you do the SET valve delete or put on a full system? Either way if thats the issue all you have to do to get rid of the FI warning is pull pin #30 on the ECM on the black connector side.
@mbabic111 жыл бұрын
No I still have the valve (just a slip-on), the light is on because the two cables came loose. Already adjusted them once, but apparently the vibrations did their work again. Thank for the tip btw
@bfulop11 жыл бұрын
babic No problem, I did it on my 06 GSXR 600 and my 07 750. It's pretty straight forward and you can totally remove the wires and servo system. All it really does is just smooth out the throttle in the lower revs, some people are convinced it gives you 1-2 HP but i highly doubt it.

I also have a suzuki gsxr 750 now (rented it) because my ducati 1098s is in the shop. But I really like the bike and when you keep the rpm up it's almost exactly that fast as my friends rsv. I also like the sound of the bike (just a bit to quit) and it power wheelies a lot for a 750 I think. Really great bike. Only problem I have that it's a bit to small. Also rear is sliding a lot with cornering (braking). But nice bike :)

Doesn’t matter. Start with a 250-300cc bike and learn body positioning on the street first. I have ridden RM125 and YZ250 2 stroke for 11 years and they have little carry over to sport bikes.

Hey little question: Is it possible to power wheelie on a GSXR 750 in second gear with standart gearing? I mean just by using the throttle, no clutching.
@mbabic110 жыл бұрын
It is possible with the tank less than half full, but you have to have a little bit of "feeling" for power delivery of the bike. With approx. 120km/h release the throttle, when the front suspension is at its lowest point quickly twist the throttle. With help of the outbound motion of the front suspension you can get the front wheel up in the air. But due the sudden wind bursts the front end can sometimes come faster than expected, clutched wheelies are much more controlled and has my preference.

Bikes are not like cars when it comes to skill, a good rider on a gixxer 750 will keep up with a shit rider on a S1000rr every day of the week, you could tell in this video the Suzuki rider was better and more experienced ! Anyone can pin the throttle in a straight line on perfect Tarmac, put them on a technical track and it would of been much closer if not a completely different story !!

Cos bikes don't offer ESC, Launch Control, etc. ... yet. But seriously, observe how most people handle their cars. It's not driving but moving the car. Driving a bike needs at least some skills and I don't want those headless, unthoughtful car drivers go 300 km/h on a bike. And yes, there are headless bikers, as well, but usually they don't last long ^^

Sebastian Usami well if you crash in a car at 100mph you are fucked, no gear what so ever just a seat belt and i doubt that will stop the car being fucked up and crushing you to death or flipping where as on a bike you have leathers, gloves , boots and helmet and under those leathers should be a back protector and chest protector etc and its possible to survive 150mph crashes aslong as your wearing the correct gear
@Finn-nt3jc10 жыл бұрын

I love fast bikes and fast cars. But lets not pretend that bikes are safer than cars. They are not. A 20 mph impact crash can kill you or permanently disable you on a bike. Now if you're into serious racing, put a cage in your car (which is required anyways at most tracks). You can survive extremely fast and crazy crashes in a car that's got a cage, racing seats, and a good harness seat belt setup. I watched a car fly off the track upside down at 150 mph. It did about 15 rolls before coming to a stop. The driver just walked away from the wreck (car was totalled). So - like I said - put a cage in your car if you are into serious racing. On your bike - wear full leathers, boots, and a good helmet. But remember - your body is so fragile. My uncle died on a bike. My helmet has saved me multiple times from certain death. I walked away from laying my bike over at 85 mph. But had that been an impact crash (tree, car, guard rail, etc), I'd be dead.

@patrickkearney50579 жыл бұрын
xavier415 Yeah buddy. I have a 2015 GSX-R750 bought recently and I play with a lot of liter bikes. If my RPMs aren't up then I don't even stand a chance with most of them. They pull so hard when that throttle is touched and I have just enough lag time to wave good-bye at low RPMs.
