Nothing ever needs fixing in a Suzuki! Been driving them for 40 years. AWESOME cars!!!

Recently came across this model and went on to purchase a secondhand 2017 one, I've had it for a few weeks now and i love it. Really robust versatile car, ok sound system isn't a patch on my bose sound system with previous car but space and economic use on petrol weighs out the negatives. Great all rounder car but still gives a feeling of a more expensive car. Perfect for someone looking for a compact runaround without comprimising on space.

Karen williams guess it would be a struggle to have a border collie in the back? The boot looks small
@karenwilliams634 жыл бұрын
Looks are very deceptive my one thing I had to have on the car was a big boot as I travel with stuff for work plus I've an allotment. This is made brilliant with the ingenious seats that can fold down/push forward and fold 'flat' against the front seats. Plus there is about an additional 9inch headroom when sitting down. This car is the same inside as the new Jimny.

I hope Suzuki don't forget that Fiat made the Panda 100HP. They've already made a Ignis Sport that loads of people loved.

Disagree with those who say that this is a good review. It is basically similar to all the others on KZbin. No information at all on the automatic version. I believe that Suzuki use their own unfamiliar AGS system so some information on this is very important.

I currently have a panda 4x4 due to be replaced. Looked at price of a panda cross and it is 17k. This on the other hand is 14 for a top of the range. I will be going for a test drive later in the week.

Great review by this guy as always, I like the car, but those fake air vents get my blood boiling :p if only they could've made them go open as a way of ventilation in the summer, I would've loved it. Also those rear lights are absolutely atrocious imo.

Yeah , I can't help thinking of an elephants rear end when looking at the car. Probably still getting one though 😆

Is ignis is better then belano... comparative study ignis prones 1) 4.7 turning radius 2) performance is better due to light weight 3)low maintenance charges 4) better CNG kit performance 5) Better suspension setting 6) small size car easy to park and drive in city ignis cones- 1) high wind and road noise in Highway 2) steering little vague and not self retainable to centre 3) little high body roll 4) marginally less fuel efficient in highway 5) less space and seating comfort at back seats 6) less boot space cones are not effect on my requirement as my small family, more city driving plz comment

Love everything about it apart from the hideous rear end! I'd still rather have the Panda Cross.
@Deadtired835 жыл бұрын
Rear is indeed a bit nasty one. But I actually kind of like the front of this car and it is surprisingly comfortable to drive for such a small car. At least with soft all season tires. :)

Could you advise please, what you recommend Suzuki Ignis Dualjet SZ5 2018 - 34000 miles or Nissa Juke Tekna 2019 41450 miles , a difference £2000 I can't make my mind, which car to buy it.

I like the little car and I want to buy one for my wife. However, I saw different reviews and some cars have the Vitara/SX4 infotainment system and others (like this one) has this horrible aftermarket screen. I wonder why?! Great review! Thanks!

How is the Ignis off road? Will it get me home in the snow?
@uncutfishing5 жыл бұрын
As usual, the safe answer would be "It depends". But I'd suspect if this car gets stuck on a snowy road, then majority of similar or larger AWD cars would get stuck in there as well. It's got narrow tyres, which should cut through the snow well to reach the hard surface. Clearance is allright, but some bigger cars will have more. Clearance is a must in order not to "float onto" a thicker layer of snow, when all of the sudden none of the wheels are touching the ground and you have to wait for the snow under the engine compartment to melt :) However, after driving full-time AWD Imprezas for 14 years, I must say that it's tyres that are the most important on a slippery road (ice or wet). I'd say an AWD with summer or even universal tyres will loose out to a FWD on winter ones (given that the clearance is identical). However, I personally am switching to this Ignis (smaller and much more fuel efficient than Subarus) and do expect better grip on mud and snow than any similar FWD car can offer, even though this car is on-demand AWD (and it has no 4x4 or locked differential option). On the other hand, vast majority of modern AWD cars are not full-time AWD.

@philryan72547 жыл бұрын
Hi guys it does look quite cute but my only problem with Suzuki and I've had four of them is the engine and the gearbox engine is never powerful enough and I should always be a six speed gear ...cheers phil

After 4 months , I am getting 22.6k per litre or 4.5 litres per 100k on premium fuel . Either 95 or 98 . Goes great on highway , city and rough tracks . I've pimped it up ' with bikie skull masks looking backwards from the rear headrests . My 180cm frame justs swivels in and out . Firm seats Comfy and roomy for me . I wear steel capped boots to kick the arse of tailgaters whom get a surprise that I'm not a lil ol granny ( I'm a grumpy ol badass ) driving this lil ol car . And cos I do the speed limit and get over to the left when not overtaking . I am doing a public service practicing my self defence kicking the arse of these sodomising tailgaters . They have a deathwish . Though already brain dead , its fun how you fully brain damage them by kicking them in the arse . It's funny how entitled drivers of german cars are on the road . They are the worst offenders and the most gutless and effeminate . Ignis kicks arse . Good fun :)
