Good video. You may want to hold off on running the engine through that flush port in the future ..

Thank you. Please explain about the flush port. I’m genuinely curious if that’s not what I should use that for. Thanks for any info.

@@LivinWith3M Check your manual under Flushing section - I have a DF90 and it recommends keeping the engine off while using the flush ports. Dr google can probably explain the why .. good luck and thanks again.

Best to use ear muff style at the vents so the impeller is doing its normal job pulling up water, if you're using the water hose in the flush port the impeller may or may not be getting water because you're forcing it directly into the engine through the flush port which is designed to use with the engine off at least thats what I understood when I bought my new suzuki back in 2018

@FlyassAlex thank you for this advice. I sure appreciate it. I will definitely invest in some ear muff style flushers and make sure my other subscribers know this. 🤙🏼👊🏼👍🏼

@@FlyassAlex@livinwith3m the impeller gets plenty of water/lubrication from just the flush port. you can see water coming out of the lower water intake. Just dont rev it.

Great video! What is the hose that you didconnected for?

I’m not 💯 percent sure. But think it carries water up for additional circulation and cooling. Maybe someone else will chime in and help with info.

why do you have to remove the propeller ?
@LivinWith3M2 ай бұрын
You actually don’t. I only recommend removing it to save weight when trying to manhandle that lower unit off of there. The only purpose is for a small amount of weight savings 🫡

Yiu showed the basics how tf do you get the lower unit back on... Mine will not go
@LivinWith3M2 ай бұрын
Brother that lower unit should go right back up on there. Since it’s heavy, you may have to adjust the engine down a little bit or up and give it some wiggle for the spines to align, but mine went right back up in there. I’m guessing it’s probably just in a bind from the weight. Like you saw in the video I had my son there to help with the weight. A second pair of hands is always good benefit. Please report back and let me know what you got found out.
