I bought an SV650 when this model first came out way back in 2000. It was also my first bike. It was a fun and nimble ride. Had it for a year and replaced it with a cruiser. I now ride a BMW R1200C cruiser and a Suzuki TL1000R V-Twin sport bike. Thanks for featuring; kind of missed it.

Mas maganda po hard plastic sliders but ung quality same sa vid coz upon impact during a low side accident it will dissipate and absorbs the crash unlike sa metal sliders na less lang ma aabsorb na impact mostly don mismo sa frame ng motor which is costly pag nasira. Ride Safe po sa lahat ✌️

SV650, looks nice, but there is no bike capable of replacing my late beloved 650 fuel injected BANDIT, was so MUCH biking joy, loads more than my GPZ750turbo was, 84,first production bike any size, to do standing quarter mile 10 seconds!. Much rather be riding a 650 Bandit, over 80mph, 2nd gear before the red-line. As a semi retired 650 BANDIT, Banditeer, Banditaholic, COLD TURKEY is AWFUL, could only be fixed by a HEALTHY, fuel Inj. 650 Bandit. Professor Bandit 650 B.T.E.out., Bandit Torque ENJOYMENT only, nothing technical.

Basically....basically.....I don't agree considering a BIGBIKE as your first bike......Riding this bike is easier said than done......... Since you guys already owned one,,,,,I advise you to enroll in Honda Bigbike academy,,,,,,,,,for your own safety and other motorists on the road. Sorry if you find my opinion flowing against yours.....Thanks for the info.....about your bikes....
