Hi.the pipes are micron end cans running with k&n filter and a power commander.ive also blanked of the pair system and binned the oxygen sensor and fitted a tre.the pair system bypass stops it popping and farting on the overrun.its a good sound as i used an external microphone duct taped to the tail piece.cheers.

Merci du commentaire.en fait c'est assez simple il suffit de brancher un micro externe sur le gopro et de le placer a l'arriere de la moto ou on peux profiter de toute la sonorite de l'echappement!micro olympus sur amazon a 30 euros et raccord gopro pour se brancher sur la cam(les generiques ne marchent pas il faut banquer les prix de gopro:( mais le resultat est bien mieux que la qualite standard.v a toi.john.

Salut.la sv1000 est une super becane mais il faut quand meme la modifier un peu.c'est avant tout une bonne plateforme avec laquelle travailler mais au coeur il reste toujours ce formidable moteur.rajoute de la bonne suspension et du meilleur freinage et c'est une machine tres sympa qui ne sera jamais un foudre de guerre mais reste vraiment un plaisir a piloter.avec un power commander et la modif tre les performances sont bonnes et c'est surtout une moto qui recompense en termes desensations une fois bien reglee.pour la gopro c'etait clipse sur l'avant de mo n blouson avec un micro externe branche a l'arriere de la moto.bonne route.john

Bonjour, je viens d'acheter une sv possédant le go pro ds séries , celui ci indique le rapport 4 pour les 4 premières vitesses ( débridage a l'embrayage d'après le vendeur). Après avoir effectué la manip de reset, l'appareil m'indique successivement C 0 7. Comment dois-je le regler ?

Coming from an sv650 to an sv1ks the change really isn't as drastic as you think it is. The horsepower differences really aren't that noticeable because the 1000 is almost 100lbs heavier than the 650 in some trims. You do notice the torque a lot more though, that's the biggest change. My 650 would struggle at 4k rpm in a high gear but I can be in 6th at 60mph and sail to 100mph absolutely no problem, thing pulls like a train.

Geo Rider Hi georider I cant disagree with thedocz in the sense that the massive linear torque you get from a well tuned sv 1000 is a whole different experience from the 650 where you have to play with the gears a bit more. Its a great bike but see it as a platform on which you can build and improve in many respects.check out sv portal.wotsit for brilliant sv info and sound advice. Either way enjoy you should’nt be disappointed its a great machine and brilliant value for money.

Hi jay.yes absolutely.the tre mod smoothes out a lot of the lowspeed hiccups and gives a bit more pull in the lower gears.the blanking of the "pair" system eliminates the popping and banging on the overrun.However the biggest improvement is the k&n filter ,power commander and O2 sensor suppression kit.These really wake the engine up and it's all so smooth and responsive with no hesitation or flat spots anywhere?Aah and i almost forgot, removing the secondary butterfly flaps from the injectors makes it that bit more snappy.the sv is a brilliant bike but it does need a lot of Care and attention to get the best out of it.go to the SV Portal website for all the info you could ever need.all the best.

+Jack Richter Wow.I'm a bit gobsmacked by this comment but welcome to sv1000 world.It really is a great bike but without being simplist it gives as much as you put into it.Straight from the dealers its a pretty unremarkable bike but it's a brilliant platform to build on.At the risk of repeating myself go and join the sv1000 portal.it will give you so much help with the necessary mods.Also check out chewy's stuff.loads of great sv mods.If i can help you out at all please don't hesitate.I hope you enjoy yours as much as i love mine.all the best.john.

I am so happy with the bike that i took my other bikes for a ride just to enjoy them. I am quite good at building race motors as i am a machinist and do from RC engines to Big diesels at my home shop. The clutch basket is slightly noisy ,but i will machine one from a billet. Next month track day then i can enjoy the freedom machine. Sub your channel.

Ummm no… no it’s not… the tl1000 had a real 120wheel hp. They made the sv1000 more manageable and dimes it back to 106wheel hp. Just google it the TL is way better.
