Suzuki SV650X Road Test

Cool bike. I’m not so sure about the clip-ons and the styling of the front bikini cowl though. I would still prefer the standard SV-650 with its standard handlebars, and add a baby windscreen.

I haven't owned a bike in nearly 40 years, but if I ever do it'll need to have a little bullet fairing like that. I can't believe how bikes have advanced steadily from the 60's to the CB 750, the GS750 and GS1100 to the full on race bikes in the late 80's but now they all look like insects to me. Nearly all the standards and naked bikes need to have the top frame rail exposed and an ugly tank. Engines are ugly too nowadays. Maybe I'll look at a Hornet or a ZRX.

The basic SV looks miles better. Have you ever tested a Can-Am?
