2WD assembly P/N is completely different. Replacement process is very similar.

Nice. Must have owned it from new/newish... Great car. Arguably just before things became overly complex with no real gains in functionally. Thx for watching 🍺

Nothing more satisfying than justifying the purchase of tools than by using them to fix your own stuff. Well done.

I have 265k on my sx4. I’ve done the rear bearings prob 8 times. Recently pressed in new fronts. Love this car so much

I have made the mistake of buying cheap bearings in the past. I had one wheel speed sensor fail inside 10 thousand kilometres on one. Timken and SKF manufacturer a quality product. Thx for watching 🍻

@@TheGibby3340 you ever do a video on how to adjust an automatic shift cable? I have to start my Suzuki in neutral. It def needs a new shift bushing. Unfortunately the only way to get a new bushing is to replace the entire cable
@TheGibby3340 Жыл бұрын
@@Spectrum_Auto_Spa Both my SX4’s are stick. There is a video on the channel on stiff shifter…just a matter of bushings lubrication at the input linkage, top side at the box. Thx again.

Nice job! You managed to do it without a word - nice challenge you set yourself there. Would it be a good idea to do the one on the other side or wait for it to misbehave?
@TheGibby3340 Жыл бұрын
Yeah admittedly I talk too much sometimes. No real point in stating the obvious…Did the other side with a Timken bearing not too long ago. Hopefully good for a wee while yet. Thx for watching. 🍻

What is the size of the axle nut? I have new hub assembly to install but no axle nuts
@TheGibby3340 Жыл бұрын
Dunno. SGP P/N is detailed in the video. You can always measure the diameter and thread pitch. Reasonable certainty it’s metric.
@danmorrison9712 Жыл бұрын
Great Video. I have to do this on my SX4 soon. Last time I did it, the 4 bolts that hold the hub on were pretty rusted-out. I want to replace them this time around, do you happen to know what size they are? I know they need to be grade 8 as well... Can't find it anywhere online! Thanks!
@TheGibby3340 Жыл бұрын
Honestly IDK…I reused mine as you can see. Google Suzuki Genuine Parts sales. You might find a local supplier. I am lucky enough to have one reasonably close. Thx for watching 🍻

Not sure why, but my wheel doesn't come off after removing all 5 lug nuts. I drive a 2011 with FWD.
@TheGibby3340 Жыл бұрын
It happens all the time…Corrosion will bond the hub to the wheel. Anti seize the hub (not the stud threads) to prevent reoccurrence.
@jameslewis9968 Жыл бұрын
@@TheGibby3340 i appreciate your quick response. I figured that out and its very common on this car. Never seen anything like it. I took a rubber hammer and kept smacking the rim. Wasn't much effort either. Thanks
