Leaving in New York, I think it's better for me to go get a new dry shirt. And it's trying to pull the yolks out of mind. This is a lot of rust on mine. And it just seems it'll be quicker and easier.Do it that way.Thank you for the video

Thanks for the infos. I bought 2 versions of the rebuild u joint for my sx4. Both ended up being not of the right size and I had vibrations issues. I finally found a used one for 150$. Now I’m at 400$ of expenses and i still have a old driving shafts!! Buy new just like he did, it’s better on the long run.

My mom bought her SX4 new from that dealership in 2013. The car is in like new condition, and has very low kilometers for the age of car. Recently she had brake problems, and went into that dealership (she's always had the car serviced there faithfully). They diagnosed that the master cylinder was bad, made her buy the part and told her to wait 6 weeks, and sent her home in the car. The master cylinder failed on the drive home (thank god the car has a working emergency brake and she was able to stop the car on time when it failed). The master cylinder has now been replaced - but I seriously wouldn't send anyone there and am now trying to find an alternative shop for her to take the car to. I also wonder how many more unsafe cars are running around Brampton with that kind of serious defect that they let drive off the lot.

Finally got under the car - it's the center bearing (the u-joints actually are good). While the car likely isn't worth the money in a used car book, given it's very low mileage and that is rust free, we are opting to replace with a new one as it's far cheaper then buying a new car. 👍

Nelson Narciso Hey Thx for watching. Contact Brampton North Nissan. Ask for Danny in Suzuki parts...He’ll fix you up...Not cheap, forget what I said it cost in the Vid. $700ish If I recall. Good luck. Cheers 👍

I see there were still vib issues on the other channel. Did he get them sorted out eventually?

If I didn't want to go through the hassle of replacing this, can the shaft just be removed and drive the car without AWD? or does the shaft need to be there for some reason?

Honestly,I don’t know if there would be any unintended consequences. Thx for watching 🍻

Vibration/droning noise in my case. I could feel it through my feet (drivers footwell) at speeds >75 Kph. If in doubt, best to inspect the joints (especially the rear) for wear. Cheers.

@@TheGibby3340 i have starting to think to change the drive shaft this weekend ...will order it on amazon is now 329 usd ... i notice that you mention about the marking to make sure it is lined up.. how crititcal is this. my guess is that we want to make sure all gear is syncronized once we put it the new one correct? i did read it somewhere that the u joint need to be in lined or some sort. anyway great detail on the removal of the rusty bolt. i am in boston here is very bad too on the salt and sand issue.. thank u for sharing hope i can keep my sx4 alive for more years to come... i just love this cars . the way how it handles and the styles.. it is one of Giorgetto Giugiaro's most underated car among the ferrais and porches . too bad they dont make anymore it more. anyway thanks much

@@MrBostony Thx very much. Great car that few people are aware of. Super capable in white knuckle conditions. I try to just keep things the way they were with respect to reassembly. If your position is somehow lost, take a close look at the corrosion signature on mating parts…Cheers 👍
