Hi Adrian, as a beginner on YT and indeed making videos too, I bought the Osmo action and the DJI mini 2 (both with 3 batteries). The OA may not be the best camera on the market, however I didn't have a fortune to spend on hobbies. I'm very pleased with it for a first camera for the $. Interesting views, Adrian. I had expected from a pro like you that the latest stuff is the best. So thumbs up for your opinion on adventure first. Enjoy your ride. I use a GoPro 7 black since last winter, trouble-free. My favourite view is from the chin, especially standing up when offroad. I need a camera that always works - whichs keeps me from buying a new GoPro 10. They seem to have problems. What I really like to try out is an Insta 360 One X2. Cheers, Günter from Nürnberg/Germany

Dear Günter, i am too old to be a victim of consumerism 😂 Insta 360 is very good for versatility but in this moment it could't be used alone. You must have at least a second camera. And sometime it is too complicated and steals the joy of a ride. I had the Max and if the Hero mode was similar to the one on Gopro 7BE, I would have kept it. Maybe Gopro will came soon with a Max2 😉

An interesting video Adrian. Thanks for posting it. I've heard stories of the Osmo overheating and turning itself off in 4K mode. Did you experience this. I think if you watch a KZbin video on your phone, then maybe achieving the maximum quality is not so important, but if you watch it on a TV it definitely enhances your enjoyment if the quality is better, in my opinion. Maybe the GoPro still has the edge in action camera technology?

Hi Paul! I had no problems with overheating. I shoot mainly in 4k for a future proof content but sometime, the YT upload experience and the very long re-processing time and results, are annoying 😑 Osmo Action is a good camera but i didn't find any features witch makes me to keep it. Otherway, it is good to see other brands coming up with new action cameras, because lately, Gopro didn't came out with serious innovations or improvements😞. Cheers 🍻

Wish in england we has so many country tracks for riding as you have, our problem in the UK is too many people whom are land owners so we suffer regarding off road riding.

Wo fährst du überall herum? Das Motorrad ist eigentlich nicht für Offroad gedacht 😅 Ich fahre auch eine DL250 aber überwiegend auf Straße. Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Bike. Grüße aus dem Spessart - Deutschland 😊

Ich fahre viel im Gelände :) Tatsächlich liebe ich die Tatsache, dass ich mich jederzeit für eine unbefestigte Straße entscheiden kann, wenn mir eine gefällt :) In meinen Videos können Sie sehen, welche Art/Niveau ich im Gelände fahre. (natürlich nicht schwer oder extrem) Ich empfehle Ihnen, zunächst einige leichte unbefestigte Straßen auszuprobieren. Es macht so viel Spaß! Beste Grüße & bleiben Sie gesund! I ride a lot in off road:) In fact i love the fact that i can choose a dirt road anytime i see one appealing:) You can see in my videos what kind/level of off road i ride.
