Don't forget, Suzy, that Oolong has already shown us that the Dragon Balls can't be used to take out powerful adversaries when he tried to wish away Vegeta and Nappa. The Dragon can only grant wishes within the power limits of whoever created the Dragon Balls. So it won't work to do away with Frieza or the Ginyu Force any more than Earth's Dragon could against the Saiyans.

When I was younger I used to work with a 40lb vest and 10lb ankle weights and 5lb weights on my wrists. I tried to do it all day long, but after 2 or 3 pm or so I would take them off. Putting weights on the ends of your limbs does not really mimic how your body stores fat. You'd be more likely to cause injury. Especially on your joints. They are useless because they aren’t providing resistance to any specific movement. You feel lighter but it doesn't actually do anything meaningful. Plenty of science behind it. You can't just walk around with weighted clothing and get stronger magically when you take them off. I will say that vests are used but they only work for specific exercises. Not just randomly like it's fucking karate kid "wax on wax off" doing construction.

The Ginyu special forces are based on Tokusatsu like Power Rangers, because at the time that Akira Toriyama made Dragon Ball, Tokusatsu in Japan was popular.

The one thing I never understood about their panic here: The Ginyu Force can't find them if they suppress their power levels. They don't have a radar to find the Dragon Balls specifically, so if Krillin, Vegeta and Gohan had flown slowly and suppressed their powers, they would actually be safer. But I guess that leaves Bulma and Guru at significant risk

They brought new scouters... which can detect power levels as low as 5.... which we saw raditz do with the farmer back on earth. There's no where they can hide. Once in range the scouters will find them and frieza has enough men to search the planet

@todorstojanov3100 the ginyu's are bringing updated scourers far more sensitive. also dodoria did infact detect them but frieza consider the power so low that it wasn't a threat (he didn't know they could hide their true level)... now they would be looking and investigate everything.

But that was just carelessness from their side and the moment Dodoria turned around, they immediately suppressed their powers down to zero and the scouter couldn't detect them anymore. And Dodoria himself claims that his scouter is the newest model It shouldn't matter how good the scouters are if you can literally suppress yourself to zero. But Bulma, Dende and Guru can't, so Bulma and her Dragon ball would have been found faster than they can make their wish. That's the only reason I can think of for why the strategy isn't viable

Yes the earth dragonballs grant only one wish, but the namekian dragonballs grant 3 wishes, in a sense the namekians dragonballs are bigger and better. Plus they are bigger physically too lol

One thing I've never understood about DBZ is why character's think being immortal would make them unbeatable being immortal just means you can't be killed it doesn't mean you would be any stronger surely you could be a wimp and become immortal but you would still be a wimp

@vkdeen7570 technically Saiyans don't have natural drive to train to the point that they found the idea of your power level raising by to much over the course of a short time surprising, at least if Vegeta's attitude during the Saiyan saga is an indication. Goku learned it from Roshi and Vegeta picks it up when he realizes it's the only way to surpass Goku. And fighting alone eventually would reach a ceiling where it stops helping, at least if you can't find stronger enemies to keep the curve going, and given the gap between the Ginyu's and Frieza, that would be hard for Vegeta to do.

1. The Earth Dragon Balls can only grant 1 wish, but the Namekian Dragon Balls can grant 3 wishes because they follow a different set of rules from the Dragon Balls on Earth. Make sense since the Namekian Dragon Balls are much bigger than the Earth Dragon Balls. 2. Oolong did tried to ask Shenron/Earth's Dragon to wish to kill of Vegeta and Nappa back in the Saiyan Saga, but Shenron said that he and Kami are not powerful enough to kill Vegeta and Nappa. You see the Dragon Ball's powers are tied to their creator's powers, so in order for the Dragon Balls to have the wish to kill someone, the person has to be weaker than the dragon and the dragon ball creator. But Vegeta and Nappa are much stronger than Kami, because of that Shenron is not able to kill Vegeta and Nappa because they are much stronger than him and Kami. The same can be applied with the Namekian Dragon Balls, but seeing Grand Elder Guru's current health, I highly doubt that the Namekian Dragon Balls are powerful enough to kill the Ginyu Force, LET ALONE FRIEZA!!! 3. Speaking of the Ginyu Force, they maybe flamboyant in nature. But do not let that fool you! There is a very good reason as to why Frieza is very hopeful when the Ginyu Force arrive on Namek. Most of Frieza's henchmen are employed by his other henchmen, but the Ginyu Force are not like that, Frieza personally selected them as the high elite-class in Frieza's Empire and they are the best soldiers Frieza has in his army. You will see soon enough! If Vegeta, Krillin and Gohan combined are not strong enough to beat the Ginyu Force, then they stand absolutely no chance against Frieza since Frieza is more powerful than all 5 Ginyu Force members combine.

That is actually the scary thing about the Ginyu Force: They are funny and friendly, but deadly! Like the Taliban. Especially Recoome who is a total dork, but absolutely merciless! Nail + Vegeta vs. the Ginyus would have been awesome since they all have battle powers around 40k (except Guldo and Ginyu).

2:28 Really the way everybody generally watches anime is DBZ -> Naruto -> One piece. Dragonball is like 400 episodes, naruto is like 600 episodes and one piece is like 1400 episodes. Fullmetal alchemist is a unique breed. The (unfortunately) correct way to watch it is to watch the original version as we all did growing up, and then watch brotherhood afterwards. Most people who have watched the original have... opinions about the way the story goes with regards to the original manga. While brotherhood does have a better story overall and make more sense, it only has the impact that it does if you have already seen the original. Having seen the original non-brotherhood-version, you can truly appreciate the original. Most people don't do this though, and if you are watching brotherhood without watching the original, they assume you already know and love all the characters... so they kinda glaze over their introductions, because you are supposed to know them already. Also, brotherhood skips the best introduction in the entirety of anime!!
