finally a build that changes the headlight! looks sick!

REALLY enjoy your content. Inspiring. This may be “late”, but I think that there is a ‘market’ for the headlight mounting assembly that your brother produced. Perhaps not hundreds, but I’m certain that there are a good many (like Myself) who would be Interested ! I’m only guessing, but I imagine that making a couple of dimensional tweaks could create a pretty universal fitting set. Happy to discuss directly, if he’d consider making some. Anyway, thanks for the content !

I like your approach to the design, I see a heavy Ducati Monster influence. I know, that is already inherent to the original concept of the SV from the factory but you really brought it out. Very good job, well executed!

@@Benji... I have a Duc' with a Termi on the farty end and it suits the L-twin really well, but I find your slip-on sounds great! What are you running? Sweet build, by the way. I'm only about half way on my own brat/street tracker journey - I would kill for your shop!

Cool bike, man. 3M makes a primer for that double stick tape that makes the glue very very permanent, if you are having issues with it peeling after some time.

The fork clamp blinker location is a really bad idea... Those stanchions need a specific amount of clamping force. Which means they need to clamp closed a certain amount.
@HaggisPower2 жыл бұрын
The soft spacer is what's holding the bracket, so tube clamping force isn't changed.

I dont know if you guys have a brand called MV Agusta in the states, but the problem i got with them is the same problem i have with the SV 650, both are very small bikes. I think they look like toys, especially the MVs, they make like 666cc 3 exhaust brutal race bikes and they are as small and short as a kids bike. A standart type bike should be normal size, the SV is not a streetfighter when its stock, why did they make it so short and so low?
@MrSlurry11 ай бұрын
The SV650 is based on the earlier (Japan market) Sv400, same frame, very similar dimensions. So - it started as a small bike. Having said that, my SV650s is not much more cramped than my BMW s1000r. Sports bikes are designed to be compact. If you're looking for something bigger, then a sports-tourer might be worth checking out
