Thanks! Unfortunately I decided not to race this season so I sold it and got a Panigale V4s.

It looked fast like a race. Did you scrape the pegs. Your good 👍 under pressure. Take care 🙂. Al

This was just a track day but I appreciate the compliment! Never got a chance to race this bike unfortunately...I built it during the height of the pandemic and decided to make a profit off it instead by selling 😔

Nice riding. Care to give a rundown on suspension mods?
@jetstream014 жыл бұрын
Thanks. Bike has an Ohlins shock and up front it has Racetech Gold Valve Emulators. However, these emulators require you to completely remove them from the inside of the forks to adjust compression and require swapping to a different oil weight to adjust rebound... definitely not ideal. So I just purchased some Andreani cartridges to gain external adjustability-theyre arriving today and I'm gonna install them Saturday. So be on the lookout for different fork caps on the next video!

Cheating on the RC! How does the SV balance feel compared the RC?
@jetstream014 жыл бұрын
I actually sold the RC a while back and bought an Aprilia Tuono. Definitely a worthy successor! Got a CBR600rr for racing too, raced for a season, then got this SV instead because it's much more budget friendly. Definitely a different ride than the RC. Way less power obviously, very comfortable seating position, and feels so light through the corners. I have to brake way later and get on the gas way earlier, although I'd say my actual corner speed was higher on the RC.

OMG, You divorced her? I’m glad you got all those great videos on the RC! Those are priceless. Did the Sato’s go with the divorce or did you hide those from the lawyers? : )

@@minibison3280 hah it's ok she went to a good home and yes, new owner got the Satos! I'll buy an RC in the future again as a dedicated race build. It was such an awesome machine!

Nice riding. Are you scraping aftermarket rearsets?
@jetstream014 жыл бұрын
Thanks. Not scraping the rearsets yet luckily because I have a lot more speed to carry through the corner than what I was in this video. They're Vortex rearsets tho and set to their lowest and rearmost settings because I'm pretty tall. Luckily not a problem yet but we'll see once I'm up to race pace.
@TWIRKNOLOVE4 жыл бұрын
jetstream01 gotcha. The noise must be your knee sliders then. I’m also tall and track my SV and know the aches it comes with. I’ve decided to re-foam my seat to be higher soon rather than lower my rear sets in hopes that it helps.
@jetstream014 жыл бұрын
@@TWIRKNOLOVE that's a good idea. I may need to do the same, we'll see. Yes it's my pucks scraping I use Chicken Hawk sliders and they're really loud.

@@jetstream01 Did you do a track day this summer with Pacific Track Time? I might of met you during tech with my naked yellow SV - I said 'Can we trade?' or something along those lines. The thought just occurred to me. Very cool bike if so.
@jetstream014 жыл бұрын
@@TWIRKNOLOVE hah maybe...I did 2 track days at Buttonwillow this year but I think it was with Let's Ride or TrackDaz. I was gonna do the one with PTT at T Hill in October but it's sold out! Gonna do TurkeyDaz Saturday instead. Planning on getting a garage if you wanna join!
