Sujith.. n everyone .. Here inlet water connection to the tank is incorrect. It also has a pressure nozzle connection to flush the tank. It seems that Sujith did not get the pressure nozzle for free when he bought the tank. See the tank video, time 8.03 and 13.22. When I bought this same tank in my house I got it with it and that is why I made this correction

While installing such water tanks, some specific steps in the piping on inlet side is essential. 1. Whent the tanks are filled by pumping water from a well the follwing measures are required:- a. If there is any leakage in foot valve of the centrifugal pump the tank will get emptied back into the well,as water inlet to the tank is in love wer portion of the yank.So provide a nonreturn valve in inlet pipe of the water tank to avoid such an incident.. b. If a submersible pump is used, there is no foot valve available in the system. Hence nonreturn valve as explained in.'a' is unavoidable to prevent emptying of the tank. 2 When the tank is filled by a connection from agencies like Kerala Water authority, water under pressure may not be availacble in the inlet system round the clock under conditions like shortage of water, leakage in pipe line. etc. Hence NRV as explained in case '1a' is unavoidsble.to avoid emptying of the tank. Similarly there isa chance of overflowing of the tank when water under pressure is available round the clock in KWA pipe line.In flat bottomed tanks a float valve can cut off the inlet water supply when tank is full. Such a valve cannot be fitted in this tank. Hance inlet pipe should have a valve which is manually operated to prevent overflowing of water from the tank. Otherwise some other type of water level controller suitable in this case has to be thought of..

IMHO, This kind of plumbing to clean the tank automatically can be implemented in your existing flat bottom tank also, by providing a cleaning drain outlet at the bottom center of the tank and a strong steel stand to support the weight of your tank and raise it's height by 1 foot above the floor.
