Their 406P $340 also has ED glass but not sure what's different between the 46P both supposedly have ED glass but there's a $103 price difference.

@@commonsense5709 I believe the 46P has fixed magnification while the 406P has variable magnification. Unsure if there are other differences besides that.

Any chance of taking into consideration it's use as an stargazing thing..?

Yes, you can. The only reason spotting scopes aren't ideal for stargazing is that most astronomers prefer 90º eye-pieces for comfort. You'll have to either sit very low or have a very high tripod if you're stargazing at objects that are directly above you.

@@alex-E7WHU Good for you! Start with this scope and learn how to find objects and enjoy the sky. It's a lot easier and faster to use than an Astro scope. But if you get more serious, you can buy a dedicated Asto telescope but be waned that's a deep and expensive rabbit hole.

The scope should have clarity at higher magnification that's the real scope! Only kowa does the job well at higher magnification

You don't have to trust me. I put up the same USAF-51 resolution reference chart in all of my spotter reviews. All at 100yrds. Compare this with other scopes I've tested and judge for yourself.
