Hi Lyn, thanks for watching and commenting. We're so proud of our selves for doing the water crossing, but it would seem it might of caused us some problems down the road. Mels dresses come from a designer "boho leni" she's based in Cairns but does have an online store. Great episode guys! How daunting is the crossing to El Questro gorge. We took on water as well thankfully it is hot to dry it out. Hope your knee was OK Mel, don't worry about your pride we all took tumbles on that walk too. It was a bit of a tough one.

Hey Paul, our vans ATM is 2750 and we sit around that when loaded for off grid. You can walk across the crossing in a shallower section to walk yo elquestro Gorge but it will add about 1.5km each way to your hike. Thanks for watching and commenting 😀.

@@SvedosTrippin just one more thing, I am trying to figure out what is a good weight on a van to pull along. Is that 2750 what you have in the van now or is that plus what you have put in like clothes and water food and tools. 🦋😀

@@paultabone2010 ATM is Aggregate Trailer Mass, that's the total weight all together, the Van loaded with water, food clothes etc. But ATM is also a limit, the ATM number on the vans plate is how heavy the van is legally allowed to be. Tare mass is the weight of the van empty. ATM minus Tare Mass is what your "payload" can be i.e. how much stuff you can put in the van. We are actually going to be releasing a Caravan Weights series that will explain everything after our Gibb River Road series so make sure your subscribed with notifications. cheers Brett.

yeah, that water crossing was crazy, but so proud of us and happy that we did it, it was nice to prove that we can achieve things like that. @fivedownunder are going from Derby the other way and We've just finished while I think they are still on it. Will the Van survive? you will have to wait and see 😉
