I’m not a massive Sven fan, but I admire his conviction to keep vinyl alive in the DJ world. I watched Carl Cox play a classic set at Fabric, and I couldn’t believe he wasn’t actually matching beats together - then you look here at Sven and I breathe a huge sigh of relief.

Such a master of track selection and energy control. He has perfected contrast between tracks. THE FUNDAMENTALS of DJing that doesn’t need ANY filters or flashy none sense.

Is this 1991 or 2018, sometimes it's hard to tell. This is the quality of a DJ that is Sven. This is house music, when the only thing that mattered was house, no matter what form, take it or leave it. This is awesome!

In reading the comments you can see that people get the magic of dj'ing with 2 decks, mixer, and records. The blending of 2 tracks to create the third song. Track selection. Unique fine motor skills. This was all completely ordinary before Serato and nowdays it's so mythical. This guy is a master behind the decks. You can see the look in his face when he nails it.
