When I was 13 I saw Zackarova live in the role of Carmen. It was an amazing experience. In my opinion she's sensual and charming in this ballet!

Ottimo mantenimento delle pose figurali alcune delle quali inedite ed estremamente accattivanti in questo balletto che contempla altresì quello che con un mio neologismo mi piace chiamare convolo aereo ed elanista della ballerina ottimamente indotto e tenuto dal partner. Ottima impressione di naturalezza esecutiva d'acchito da parte di entrambi. She is perfect technically but she looks to much like a Ice Queen to be a Carmen... I think Vishneva is perfect for that role! Vishneva is like the fire, when Zakharova is like a still lake.

I hope that you were not talking about weather. For ballet, an adjective word is never adequate. Alicia Alonso choreographed the piece in 60's, as a Cuban ballerina, her interpretation was great at her time. After 50 years, if everyone just simplely copy her style and interpretation, this ballet would not be survived as a classical repertoire。

Zakharova is one of my absolute favorite ballerinas, and will always be, but her in this role just feels empty. She's gives me more of a light airy feel than the fiery passion needed for the role of Carmen. Other dancers like Vishneva bring so much feeling to the role, she almost seems to be the music itself, but zakharova is just lacking in that, despite being almost perfect technically. Idk, just my thoughts. I still absolutely love her, Zakharova preforming the rose adagio from sleeping beauty is one of the most breathtaking things I've ever seen.

This is a spanish character role. The demonstrating of feeling can be taught, as I have seen it, but , but I can tell if it's a natural coming from the soul or just acting it. Even when it is natural, the dancer is not always able to project it fully, and that is where the coaching is so important. The role calls for seductiveness too, which i must admit is lacking for me as not just in the face , but must be in the head, neck,shoulder and upper back subtle movements

it's sad because zaharova is avery good dancer but she is too skiny (i now that in russia ballerina's have to be very skinny and have long legs but in the royal ballet ballerina's are not like zakharova)

Her technique is incredible, but she just cannot seem to undertake the persona here and it seems to be lacking the dramatics that the likes of Vishneva really adds to it. It seems to be more a case of just doing the steps, rather than living the part. Disappointing really.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to be mean, but whenever I see her dancing, I have the impression she's a gymnast wearing pointe shoes. I'm not a fan of hers, but I respect her as a dancer. I just feel that perhaps she should control a bit her extensions and work more on her acting skills. She's still young, so I guess in a few years she may have what I appreciate in a dancer - which is far beyond the technique.

Il costume rovina l'impressione molto. Deve lavorare sull'immagine. Quel orrendo fiore sulla testa non va bene. La ballerina e' eccezionale. ( Cmq meglio di Plesetskaja non c'e')

Захарова хорошо смотрелась бы в кордебалете, она прекрасно научилась задирать ноги на 180 градусов и танцует, выполняя сложное кривлянье, а это не всем по силам😂. Захарова это показатель деградации балета везде, не только в России . К сожалению, таких как Барышников уже почти не осталось. Он последний из уходящих гениев балета.
