The way this woman fills every single note of the violin with her whole body - her hands are particularly breath taking - is simply inhuman. How can someone be so graceful? You don't know what you are talking about .. he is one of the few who pay attention to detail and use a perfect technique. Whose opinions have you been listening to? You obviously know nothing about Russian School. He is the most decorated Russian dancer and rector of the ballet academy who students are getting multiple offers and dance solo parts the same year they are hired so before yo make such ridiculous statement learn a little first instead of shooting for the hip.

I've heard critics comment on "the choreographic paucity of Nikiya's part," but WOW, she and Bolle make this look like the most dazzling choreography on the face of the planet, perfectly executed and even perfectly acted. She's just so musical, and her brilliant extension just fits rather than her looking like she's just showing off "Oh, look how high my leg goes" so breaking character as some ballerinas do. Magnifique! Must get on wish list...

OTTIMI quelli che con un mio neologismo mi piace chiamare convoli aerei ed elanisti della ballerina ottimamente indotti e tenuti dal partner. Ottima impressione di levità fluente fatta tensione elanista e motile sorprendente nella ballerina e l'esecutività d'acchito da parte di entrambi. Miss Zakharova is currently the Prima Ballerina Absolutta of the world right now. And as for the grandest Primer Danseur Noble... well, jury's still out. Like the voting ballots in Florida. But many have casted their votes for Zakharova's regular dance partner Mister Roberto Bolle. I've seen some of his work. It's just nice to see one Primo Ballerino who's not Russian! also you'll see none of the corps have a huge grin which tells you instantly that that is how her character is supposed to be portrayed as, even if you dont know the story of a ballet. basically if the whole corps and everyone else had huge smiles and she didnt then you could say she had "lack of emotion". but they didnt, she was perfect.

Yes, Svetlana's performance was exquisite, but I think great mention should also be paid to the orchestra and the conductor - for some strange reason, it seems no one wants to play the scores beautifully for ballets, but this is exceptional. The orchestra performed this beautifully, just like it should be done. ;-)

@@martineleysen1365 concernant Sylvie Guillem je suis septique qd elle a dépassé la trentaine , les videos Guillem sont en petite quantité en fait qd on compare le nombrz de videos Guilkem avant et apres 30 ans et les gens se basent sur les videos donc Guilkem avant la trentaine là je suis d'accord 100-100 apres cesr autre chose ça cest l'effet internet , avant 1980 kes danseurs sont quasi inconnus voir totalement notamment pour l'opéra dz Paris

Wonderfull performance. Roberto and Svetlana have so much chemistry. I also love their marvellous 3 min.PDD in the 1st act. After watching another ballerinas in this ballet, Svetlana always is the best. And after her, the new rising star Maria Khoreva, already? a principal, also excellent in her Bayadere debut.
