SVG Files, Ep. 2 | Very Different Than What I’m Used To | Presented by Enhance Health

Final preparations are underway for Supercars champion Shan Van Gisbergen to make his NASCAR debut on the streets of Chicago. In SVG Files Episode 2, Shane arrives in the United States and visits Trackhouse Racing to see his Project 91 car for the first time. He attends the race at Nashville Superspeedway and then tests at the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL leading into Chicago race weekend.

I rarely watch NASCAR but im glad people world wide after the stunt at Le mans, and now having some racing legends from other sports come race, that people can see how exciting NASCAR can be. it certainly has its moments. glad you got to watch a NASCAR race live and watch SVG win! I love V8 supercars and was so excited to see him do incredible in this race in Chicago

This was great to watch 🙂I came here as I follow SVG in the Australian Supercars Championship, having never really watched Nascar. I will definitely be paying an interest now that Shane is getting a drive in the Project 91 car. The street course looks interesting, SVG is a master at these. Thanks for showing some of the process of how it all works. I hope SVG goes out there on Sunday & has a good hard race. I know he is good enough to be in the top 10 or even win the race, but the main thing is he enjoys it, soaks up all the atmosphere & has a great time. You have 2 whole countries behind you and cheering you on Shane! ✌

1. Hendricks Garage 56 stellar performance at 24 La Man. 2. Shane Van Gisbergen Chicago Street Race absolute domination on a race I’ve dreamed of for years. 3. Cup Cars return to North Wilkesboro for the All-Star race. 4. My Boy KFB to RCR…. Those four things have made this Nascar season the best I can ever recall by FAR…and we’re only just little more than half way through the year? Are you kidding me? What a season already! So glad to see the direction Nascar is heading these days. Get those rigidity issues with the NextGen car sorted out and there’s no stopping this series. MORE STREET CIRCUITS! MORE SHORT TRACKS! MORE DIRT TRACK RACING! And a lot less of the left turn mid level tracks. At least it’s what I’d wanna see. Never will I ever miss the likes of Chicagoland. I say this as someone that has lived their entire life in South Carolina, 90 minutes from Charlotte. 50 years of age and never had I been more excited about a NASCAR season to get under way. So far I’m well pleased. Im grateful people like Justin at Trackhouse know a real Wringer when they see one. SVG…what a Racing Car Driver that Kid is!

‘Became a RC fan almost immediately when he started racing for TRACKHOUSE Racing. Even started rooting for DS in the races. Now this Aussi comes in and, again, instantly I’m a fan. So I guess I’m signed up to be a Trackhouse team fan! As for Chicago, I was dead set against this race (especially since it booted the Daytona Pepsi 400 out of its Independence Day weekend slot), but after watching the qualifying as well as the first laps of the Infinity series race, I have to say, this should actually be a great race today!

If you want the technicality Red Bull doesn't own the team he drives for in Supercars. They are known as Triple Eight Engineering, a massive team in Australia that specializes in Touring Cars/Supercars and GT/Endurance Racing. Red Bull just sponsors the Supercars Team.
