Best investment I made-upgraded to this from an older Klipsh reference 12” for the home theater. Just ordered another PB-2k from Crutchfield (free shipping to the 808 State) to go duals!

Apparently they come with the port plugs now. Mine did anyways. Sounds killer hooked up to The Nines I got too.

I have the sevens. Can you tell me if you used port plugs? My room is smallerish. Thanks.

Great video man. Delivery of my PB-2000 Pro is tomorrow. I have the original PB-1000 but its too small for my room size. I'm gonna try to blend both together for a while till I can get a second PB-2000 Pro. SVS said it should work fine as they are tuned similarly. I have hardwood floors, you think I need the soundpath isolation system? Thanks for the video.
@SpecOfTech3 жыл бұрын
If you are on a sub floor and don't like the vibration transfer, then get the isolation feet. If you are on a concrete floor, or if you like the vibration transfer, don't get the isolation feet. Hope that helps, cheers.

@@SpecOfTech thanks for getting back so quickly. Yeah it's concrete underneath, no basement or anything. How much better is the PB2000 Pro over the PB1000 I have now? I mean I think it's gonna be a huge upgrade?
@SpecOfTech3 жыл бұрын
@@JC-bl9bo I wouldn't say it is a huge upgrade, but it will be significantly noticeable. If there is one thing I know about bass though, it's that we always want more lol.

@@SpecOfTech Thanks again. I live in a townhouse so this just about the top before neighbors really hate me. In fact this might be too much for them. 😂 This is what I could budget wise also. I looked at everything in the range but throw in this was an SVS Outlet buy, plus 5% off for returning customer and this was cheaper than the others in the end. Great customer service as well. Thanks again for info.

I’m looking at getting either two 1000 series or two 2000 series but can’t decide between ported or sealed, I think two 1000’s would be enough

It doesn't come with port plugs?

Could I use this sub for my two systems in my living room? I am new to this. I have speakers with my computer powered with Sonos Amp and a martin Logan home speakers for tv but I have no sub. I use one system at a time
@SpecOfTech4 жыл бұрын
Do you have an AVR? You will need an Rca sub output to run this sub. You can use it with any system you want as long as it has a sub out.

@@SpecOfTech Hello! I want this sub for my dj booth. I have XLR and RCA on the Bozak AR4 DJ mixer. Do you know if that can work?, i also have a Marantz 2270 powering a pair of JBLs but there is no way to connect it to. So i have to use the Booth signal to power the sub since im using the Master out to connect to Marantz via Aux or Tape. Thank you.

I have a bonus room 14x19 upstairs, dedicated room, would a pair of these pressurize this room without any issues???
@SpecOfTech3 жыл бұрын
It would really depend on the type of bass experience you are looking for, but yes 2 of these would do a great job in that room. As long as your expectations are to have room filling audible bass with just a little tactile response.

Not even close. The hsu vtf 3- mk5 will walk all over it for the price. Hsu all day long. Svs has the worst price to performance ratio out of all the id companies.
@SpecOfTech4 жыл бұрын
Maybe king is not the right choice of words, maybe President would be more fitting. Since with being a President it isn't about the best person for the job, but simply who is the most popular. In this case the PB2000 or PB2000 Pro aren't necessarily the best subwoofer performance wise ,but they are the most popular, yet still do offer decent performance for the price. Keep in mind that HSU research is not as budget friendly for anyone outside of the U.S. In Canada it would cost over $1800 CAD (after shipping, duty, tax and exchange) for a VTF-15H Mk2, which is double what an American pays. Anyone outside the US also does not get the 30 day trial period AND if you needed warranty work the customer is responsible to ship the subwoofer back to HSU for the work and then pay shipping back to themselves. For Canadians a HSU subwoofer is basically a rip off, for U.S citizens though, it is an amazing value. SVS is more accessible to those outside the US, hence why they sell so well world wide vs the rest of the ID companies. Needless to say us international buyers are jealous of you Americans where the choices are plenty and the prices are far more budget friendly.

@@SpecOfTech Is there a Canadian company similar to SVS?
@SpecOfTech4 жыл бұрын
@@kevonmanuel No I wouldn't say there is a Canadian company like SVS, but SVS is available to us here in Canada through retailers. Unfortunately for us Canadians our choices are limited. Paradigm is a Canadian company, but there subwoofer performance vs price value is worse than SVS in my opinion. Funk Audio is Canadian as well, but yikes they have high prices, great performance though.
@Ctripp24484 жыл бұрын
Spec Of Tech lol yea we are lucky to be in the states with all these great id companies. Svs makes good stuff that is easier to get in different countries so I definitely agree with you on that. Since you are in Canada you need to get your hands on some Funk audio subs which are the best subs out there imo. Amazing sq and spl. Nathan builds incredible subs.
@SpecOfTech4 жыл бұрын
@@Ctripp2448 Yeah Funk Audio makes some amazing subwoofers. They are a little pricey too, their prices are listed in USD. I would love to try one though, maybe he will send me one for review when my channel is larger 😁.
