I just pulled the trigger on four of the Evolution Elevations to replace my Prime Elevations. I could definitely hear a difference. I'll let you know how it goes.

Thanks for the comparison, it really helped get a sense with my headphones. I have a challenging space and use these as my elevated LCR so I was on the fence about upgrading my front stage and moving the primes to surround duty. There is a real lack of reviews out there for this speaker which is surprising considering it's the best selling SVS speaker so this was very helpful!

Always enjoy your video's.Wow didn't realize the ultra evolution heights were that much bigger.Did you see or hear that SVS has come out with a new sub.The sb and pb 17" sub?

Why do they port them at the rear when they’ll be wall mounted?Should just be sealed or front ported.

@@BrettinLux it it a bit weird but there is a gap. Maybe to load the speaker a bit more. But very valid question.

@@BrettinLux I believe the reason for the port is is because, you can use these as your left, right, center, and your surrounds if you want.
