I am putting together a home theater, I was going to take the PB1000 but not sure if I should spend a little more and go for the PB1000 Pro. It’s not a huge room so not sure if I really need the extra power….

Thanks for your question. The SVS PB1000 is replaced by the PB1000 PRO. The PB1000 is no longer available.

I have the older 1000. Now thinking if I would trade it in for sb 1000 pro, shipping the big as pb is expensive lol, the sb is smaller
@robc78123 жыл бұрын
@@conraddevera doubt youd really notice a difference just going to the pro... have learned sense all this that my reciever was more the problem with my bass than the sub its self.. denon seems to have a rather weak low range and after going and listening to several receivers yamaha pioneer and onkyo fill that need and heard the sb1000 on them and was much more impressed
@conraddevera3 жыл бұрын
@@robc7812 yeah, guess I'll keep my pb1000. I like it, not that I have too many to compare it too. I'll just pay the shipping (it's $120+) but still cheaper than trading it in then buying a smaller sb 1000 pro (will end up paying more) to have a smaller sub to ship. Shipping it overseas BTW, just to avoid confusion if any

I need help 😬😬 i have take, the svs SB 1000 PRO for home cinema and video game for ps5, sorry is no good for that? 🙏
@WorldWideStereo3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your inquiry. The SVS SB 1000 PRO is an ideal subwoofer in a home theater system. It would connect to the Subwoofer output on the receiver. If your PS5 is connected to the receiver then the sub and connected speakers would provide the sound from the PS5.

Hi Joe, i have a SB2000 in a 5.1.2 setup but im not totally satisfied by it and i think i should have bought a ported one. Do you think i will make an upgrade or a downgrade if i exchange the SB2000 for a PB1000 Pro model? Will i loose something?
@WorldWideStereo2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your inquiry. There are some inherent differences between equally well engineered sealed box and ported box designs. A sealed box design is often better suited for music of any type. A ported design has at times more “punch” but at the expense of response linearity. As you weight the factors, take a look at this blog: bit.ly/3PZvaoL . We find many instances of dissatisfying sound due to incomplete setup and tuning.

So.. Does it really make a big difference?
@JavonDGreen3 жыл бұрын
@@DiegoFazzo yes it does actually. It’s hard to put it into words. However take the movie aquaman. The end battle. With the klipsch you’ll get the bass and the booms. However there are tones like the water being swooshed and the bigger vessels that explode that are kind of washed. With the SVS not only do you hear it you feel it more tactfully. Instead of a booooom. It’s more of a smooth vrroooooom. Not sure if it makes sense but like I said it’s hard to put into words.

I only have one set set of binding posts on the amplifier my speakers are currently running off can i run the high level connection to the same binding posts that my ls50 meta's are using?
@briansowdenable3 жыл бұрын
Yes. The speaker level inputs have a high impedance so you run your speakers and subs on the same binding posts.

@@tommyboy3731 This guy has said the same thing in every SB 1000 vid and gets instantly bashed in the comments section. For instance, how many things did he use that were made in China just to relay his message 10's+ times on vids people spent their time putting together to hopefully further inform potential buyers or not. Like spam messaging. Maybe he should do his own research with more due diligence so he can never buy another "Made in China" product. Sorry for my rant and have a great day.
