Really nice job. I'm thinking about upgrading my OEM skid plate. (It's not the most robust, but it's ok if you're not banging it too much). But it looks like I'll have to do some mods to the new skid plate too - for it to fit around my Hepco & Becker guards. Might have to get me a nice angle grinder! Thanks for another helpful video. Keep riding safe, man.

Thanks for your video. Why does the 14mm nut have to be removed from underneath and the bolt slid back?

I'm using these SW Motech skid plates for 2 years and I'm quite unsatisfied with the supplied mounting brackets, those are bad engineering design. It's a pain to mount the plate with them, the mounting tabs will easily come off and rotate with the bolt. I have reinstalled the OEM Honda grommets and brackets and those are much more reliable. Luckily the OEM brackets are compatible with SW Motech supplied screws, are much more reliable and easier to install the plate with them.

I couldn't agree more You are correct I am very happy with the skid plate itself but yes the front screws are pain in the rear end lol. I never thought of this idea of using OEM mounting screws I give it a try this month when I will be changing oil maybe even make a video on this issue that may help others thanks for the idea 💡
