The poem at the end was by a very famous old dead white guy named Lord A. Tennyson, and the poem is called In Memoriam A.H.H. Stupendium read out only a very tiny part of this very long poem and I don't know much about it myself, but from what I've been able to gather it's about the nature of life and how beauty and noble creatures die out while ugly things and violence seem to thrive. Which seems to be very fitting for the subject matter of this game.

@AlphabetSoup3000 now, while the name reminds me of Ben Tennyson from Ben 10, that is a very interesting fact, and this poem does sound very bleak and depressing, so it does very well with the frostpunk series thank you so much for the info alphabet soup 😁😁😁👍👍

@@SwaggysHereMore specifically, (if I do remember correctly) it's about a man realizing that nature does not care for humanity, and things will continue flowing even after we're gone.

@AlphabetSoup3000 Well, that is true. Even if humanity were to vanish time, it wouldn't stop it. It would keep going no matter what 🤔🤔🤔

Yes. It is in its own way kind of beautiful, I suppose... but you can still mourn the passing of beauty and the things you love. I am actually trying to get my hands on a hard copy of a book of his poems in the hopes I will understand them better by reading them myself.
