Mr. Blue Is Too Smooth Nagato’s whole combat style is based around the rinnegan’s powers. Sasuke and Madara both have numerous techniques that are unique to them in addition to the rinnegans powers so much so that they should be beyond broken. Probably comes down to writers choice of keeping nagato unique and balancing out characters I guess

Remember the days of "Byakugan is stronger than sharingan" and having to actually use strategy and techniques? During the chunin exams, Shikamaru blew my mind with his awesome thinking process and talent. Keep in mind, the byakugan is only superior in visual perception. Sharingan grants more abilities. Also strategies are still present, Shikamaru just so happens to be one of the best strategists in the entire series.

Awesomebawss well, byakugan was never better than sharingan. It was just the one aspect that the byakugan had over sharingan which was seeing chakra and field of view. But the sharingan was still actually better since it didn't only let you see chakra but you could copy others jutsu, create genjutsu and even have precognitive abilities. The byakugan doesn't have any of that which makes the sharingan better, overall.

It's because Naruto already knows how to counter all of them. Think about it, he defeated Pain, who had WAY more experience using these abilities, all on his own, when he had to fight 6 individual people, while he was significantly weaker than when Sasuke fought him. On top of that, they use a ton of chakra, so that means Sasuke would have to ration them carefully so as to avoid exhausting himself. Seriously, think about it. How useful REALLY would shooting rockets at Naruto have been?

Sasuke's only real useful ability is the one he has unique to himself, being able to swap places, which he uses to excellent effect. Once again, gigantic lava golem. Tiny rockets. OR, gigantic lava golem. Susanoo clad nine tails. Easy choice to me. The measure of how powerful an ability is really hinges on "how high up the pecking order can it smash". Wood style, when used by Hashirama at least, can go almost to the very top. However we saw its ceiling. Obito as the ten tails jinchuriki just fucking ignored that shit, then proceeded to wreck an entire army which was sporting what ALL of the abilities on Swagkage's original 5 hax list? Speaking plainly, the higher level fights in Naruto have just grown beyond the six paths of pain abilities. In actual fighting when you reach the highest level, it's less about big flashy moves, and more about perfection in execution. Unless you can start pulling Saitama shit on your opponent, you need to make a plan and execute it flawlessly while avoiding any pit falls or left turns your enemy throws at you. Naruto making a hundred shadow clones and dog piling someone works on lower level ninja like Mizuki. It doesn't work on higher level ninja like Kakashi. You can throw all the bodies you want at Kakashi, he's so good at fighting he knows how to make your numbers advantage useless. Numbers without coordination is a handicap.

Rinnegan is simply an evolution of Sharingan. Kaguya Ate the Shinju Fruit which gave her all the chakra of the world and manifested a third eye which is Rinne-Sharingan. Kaguya's Sons Hagoromo and Hamura both possessed some of her powers leaving Hagoromo with a weaker version of Rinne-Sharingan and Hamura with weaker version of Byakugan and then their descendants get this power and Hagoromo Splits Juubi into 9 Tailed beasts and The Human who serve the Tailed Beast are known as Jinchuruki's. Otsutsuki are the descendants and then later reincarnation of Ashura and Indra becomes the descendants. Uchiha , Senju , Uzumaki , Hyuga. Hamura's and Otsutsuki's Descendants are Hyuga. Kaguya's Descendants are Kaguya Clan. Simply Sharingan is a weaker version of Rinne-Sharingan which evolves to the it's max which is a Rinnegan that is the stronger version of Sharingan. Rinnegan has the Six Paths Technique. Animal Path Allows the user to summon Giant Immortal Animals who becomes stronger due to each damage they take. These Animals can be controlled and used both offensive and defensive. Human Path Human Path allows the user to rip out souls and once they rip out souls then that certain living thing is dead and you gain it's memories and knowledge. Ashura Path Ashura Path allows you to release Missiles and Beams. Gives you 4 Arms and 2 Extra Head which increases the power by a bit. Literally gives you knives , driller and all kinds of this stuff. Pretha Path Pretha path allows you to absorb Ninjutsu and Chakra. Momoshiki's Rinnegan can absorb Ninjutsu and send them back which falls under Pretha Path Category. Deva Path Deva Path allows you to do repulsive force and attractive force. Access to Levitate in Air and Teleknesess. Shinra Tensei which is repulsive force pushes away anything near depending on how much chakra you spend on it and has 5 seconds limit. Banshou Tenin is attractive force that pulls the target to the user and has 5 seconds limit. Another Attractive force which is Planetery Devastation which releases a Black Sphere that takes anything into it and cover it with any objects near till it's planet size big. Castrophic Planetery Devastation can be used to seal according to how much ever size and width the user wants it to be. This can be used as an offensive attack and appears from above as an Medeor according to users wish on the size and width. Naraka Path Summons the king of hell that rips out the tongue of the target that doesn't say the truth and kill them. The king of hell also recovers your injuries and damage when it does a chewing action. 7th Path Outer Path You can summon Gedo Mazo that can do the Dragon Soul Technique and also capture the Tailed Beasts. This Gedo Mazo is a Tailed Beast Level. You can cast Rinne-rebirth that brings people you killed back to life. Madara has both Base Rinnegan and Senjutsu Rinnegan. Base Rinnegan maybe allowed him to access to Flying and Teleknesess which is his own Rinnegan ability but I might be wrong. Senjutsu Rinnegan allowed him to use Limbo which is his as well. Sasuke's Rinnegan can swap places , teleport and Amenotjikara plus he has field of vision 360 can see through chakra points and objects.

I am probably the only person who feels for nostalgia for this video specifically. This video was my introduction to Naruto; this video convinced me to be a Naruto fan, all on its own. Just out of the blue, it appeared in my recommended, I listened to Swag talk about how OP it is for 16 minutes, and then bam, I was hooked onto Naruto. Like, imagine someone with no Naruto knowledge hearing "the Naraka path and the Prata path are the weakest paths, and the Naraka path can summon the king of Hell" Now, I may not be the only one who was introduced to Naruto through this specific video, but I have to believe that there are very few of us

Even without it he could get an artificial arm, but he chooses to keep his handicap to pay for his crimes. He IS genuinely remorseful........... present manga arc considered, i think he should uh...... take a look at some of his options. Of course it is also possible we are misinterpreting the abilities of the Naraka Path. We DO only see it restore the bodies of CORPSES. It may have other limitations regarding living flesh.

Rinne Tensei doesn’t actually kill the user, but it takes a lot of chakra. Nagato died because he used up all of his remaining chakra to save those who he killed.
