Gon isn't exactly stupid, sure he isn't book smart but he's capable of learning in actual application and field work with the use of his quick instincts which is a difficult trait to have unless nurtures within the wild. He can also plan ahead but needs not a moment to think, he has his reliable instics which I can bet is with reliable intuition as he can come up with his own techniques and ways to handle a fight, like in the tournament. He has quick instincts and quick thinking. Although he isn't top notch smart but he definitely is a smart and intuitive fighter.

You know, Hunter x Hunter loves subverting our expectations. What if Gon never manages to regain his Nen? Maybe he'll need to find some other way to fight, or maybe he will just never be much of a strong fighter again at all. If there's any series out there ballsy enough to attempt this, it's definitely HxH. They've never had traditional power scaling for Gon as the protagonist anyway, since he never managed to surpass Killua when it comes to pure power (except for that final transformation of course, but we all know what that cost him).

@@TimeturnerJ Ging himself stated that Gon still has his Nen, its just that he is no longer able to use it at this time. Remember back to when Wing taught Gon and Killua how to use Nen. He said that before you can use it, one has to open their aura nodes. When Gon was returned to "normal" by Nanika, he must have gone back to his base with his aura nodes closed. Eventually, he will have to manually open these nodes himself or receive another initiation to use Nen again. The issue with Gon is that his character arc has essentially ended (having achieved his goal). The last time we see Gon in the manga, he remarks that he basically wants to find out what he wants to do with his life. When we see him again, he will much smarter, wiser, and have purpose, which would be the perfect time to then relearn Nen to achieve whatever new goal he has.

It was after he gave his power to Meruem (iirc) and when Morel fought Pouf he was only at like 50% capability when Pouf was fresh. You made it sound like Morel was at full power. Apparently that was a mistranslation. The power Gon achieved was simply putting himself in a contract that would give him all his potential and abilities to give him absolute raw power in exchange. It’s not like he knows how strong Pitou is. On the other hand if this is true. Wouldn’t any character be able to unlock this full power with enough will to basically over power anyone if they weren’t powerful enough at the moment? It would be ridiculous because that would kinda break the power scale a bit. I believe Gon ultimately gave all his life force in exchange for raw power the limit being how much Nen he would unlock at his prime being the determining factor.

i think, that what happened with Gon with the whole "grown to adult" form, is the most basic form. what it says. which is "turning potential into current strength" i think this meant what his current body had, turning his current life force into pure strength. thats clearly insanely basic interpritation. but i dont think that really even shows his true actual potential. also it would be cool if gon would put a "i can only use rock, when i am furious. like. madder than mad. and if i dont, X happens" X being an impactful consequence. , i dont really know a good consequence though. death is obviously a potential thing. but every consequence being death is sort of played out.

I don't think it's accurate to assume Killua's top speed is the actual speed of lightning. If he was that fast, he could travel at anywhere from 220k miles per hour to 220 million miles per hour, depending on what you actually consider lightning to be (the downward stroke or upward flash). At those speeds, he could be virtually anywhere on the planet in a matter of minutes, or even seconds. When looking at Killua's feats of speed, this doesn't seem to be the case. It's clear a solid amount of time passes from the point Killua learns of Pouf's deception of Pitou to the time he reaches Gon. Now, I use that instance of his travel speed over the scenario where he was fleeing Illumi while carrying Alluka due to the potential counter arguement that he slowed his pace to spare Alluka the stress of his full speed. Air pressure at high speeds can be very lethal. At 220k mph, Killiua could circle the globe in about 6 minutes or so. At 220 million mph, he could circle the globe in 2.5 times in a second. Of course, this is operating on the assumption the world in Hunter x Hunter is the same size as our Earth. Nonetheless, we just don't see that level of speed being displayed. More than likely, "Speed of Lightning" is just a name and not an indication of actual speed.

Thats not how killua’s speed works, he uses nen to sense his opponents neurons firing which means theyre about to move and his neurons fire first so he will always move before his opponent can, thats what godspeed does, it also provides a speed boost at base tho

Im guessing that Gon will possibly be the most powerful nen user, in terms of raw power. Although i hope that he doesnt just stick to his Jajanken he needs to widen his arsenal. I believe Killua will be on the same level as Gon but his strength will lie in his variety of his skills, when his Godspeed is mastered he should be the fastest fighter and he should have some legendary lightning techniques stacked on top of his assasin abilities. Both of them could surpass even Meruem. Not to compare but they will be like Naruto(Raw power) and Sasuke(Skill/Techniques). However,Hunter x Hunter is very unpredictable so something unexpected might happen. I also hope Kurapika is extremley strong in the future.

I find it funny how Gon isn’t even through his teenage years, yet he has an attack that’s damn near the same as Uvogen from the phantom troupe. Yet you can tell when they made the move because the name. Gon, a kid, names it after a game. Uvogen, probably a man at the time, felt his attack was enough to be compared to the Big Bang. Pierson Fullman I think it sounds like a cool idea but the way power and scaling is handled is so different from Naruto to Hunter x Hunter. In HxH most of the more powerful nen users are powerful not because their abilities are overpowered, but because of their knowledge and experience with nen. Towards the end of Naruto all of the most powerful characters just threw around huge chakra blasts at each other.

H x h wins by far in intelligence...even the smartest naruto guys like shikamaru made a lot of very stupid decisions in his fights. Physical abilitys are generally higher in naruto. And physical damage output as well. If you dont count that atombombs exist in h x h because then even juubi bombs are a joke. Overall abilitys I would say h x h wins...yes there are some really hax techniques in naruto but nothing comes even close to allukas powers. it would mainly be situational to determined who could defeat the other but since the power cap on naruto is through the roof as compared to hunterxhunter where yeah their power max is easily insane but, anybody from hunterxhunter would have a difficult time against jonin ranked shinobi but just as it'd be difficult for them it'd also be difficult for the naruto vers because of the new techniques that they would be facing but i feel like the naruto vers would win based on there being forms like kcm, sussano, etc not to mention naruto has people like minato who are possibly (POSSIBLY) slightly faster than killua's godspeed form it'd be interesting to see though
